I've played their Walking Dead game, based off the comic which the show is also based off of, supposedly. Pretty good stuff.

I'm not in the city, and my ISP doesn't exist over there. I go through Arvig. It's a local family owned business that started here and has since spread across the state. They don't have much for competition out here, save for satellite internet providers. I pay $120 a month for 20Mbps currently.

Hmm I remember having SoJ's in D2. I remember them having a lot of hype, but they weren't overly expensive to trade for.

Haven't had time lately to check out Saints Row but looking good for tomorrow.  Are any of you behind one game collectively?  Playing together?  I'd like to get into something online multiplayer for the winter.
Try Path of Exile, it's an arpg like Diablo. A lot of creativity can be put into making your builds and crafting items. Full release is coming in 17 days with a 7th character class, new skills new quests and much more. Best part is, it's free to play and there's no "pay-to-win" just cosmetic microtransactions. :)

I actually think I liked Saints Row 2 a little better. This one just went completely un-serious and it's cool that way, but I liked a little bit of seriousness in my game too.

I noticed when I bought it that it was published by Deep Silver instead of THQ who did the last 3. Just a fun fact.

Anyway, it's still awesome as fuck, I would just like to see the next one get a little bit more serious and bring some more difficulty back in. I like unlocking basically god mode towards the end of the game by doing main quests and side quests, instead of having it handed to me right away.

Playing about the same list as last time give or take one.

Atm, mostly Path of Exile
Full release coming SOON! Act 3 part 2 will come out and several more additions/changes. New shit just about every week keeps me amped. Gotta play it very casually though, to make time for other games.

That is most likely because SR3 is when the series took a turn from serious and funny to all out fucked up funny.

Saints Row one had the classic style GTA character who doesn't talk. You actually spoke on 4 or 5 occasions only, once upon the victory of each gang (3 gangs) and once (twice maybe, can't remember for sure) upon winning the game. Each time you have a high pitched weird ass voice. In SR2 you got way more customization and your character started speaking. You could pick your voice, those choices were available in the next two in the series as well, but with more customization. But in SR2, while the game was still very funny, after being betrayed by your allies in the first one, you set out with a more serious tone to rebuild the gang which had since fallen apart while you were in a coma. In SR2 you're now the boss of the Saints and have to re-take Stilwater, for good this time. They thought you were "hard" in the first one, but in SR2 you're the ultimate badass with no mercy.

My personal opinion, I love the shit out of all of them, It's hard to pick a favorite, impossible really. I thought each time a new one came out that they just got better and better, but there are things that got lost along the way too. So, while I still believe that, it's easy to note things that were awesome in all of them that can't be a part of a newer one without taking away from what makes the new one good in a different way. If you understand my meaning.

Favorite weapon so far, 420?

Mine is definitely the Dubstep gun, although the 'Merica gun is also very badass. I actually received a physical toy copy of the Dubstep gun, it lights up on one side and has a laser point while the trigger is held, playing the dubstep song heard in game when using it. :D

I hooked up the season pass as well, it's Saints Row, how can you not? lol

Hey for everyone interested in trying Saints Row out, GameFly has a bad ass promotion right now you can buy Saints Row 2 for really cheap on the PC, you can also get Saints Row 3 by itself for super cheap or with all the dlc for a couple dollars more. The first Saints Row was an Xbox 360 exclusive and 4 just came out so it's still full price for now.

Check it out: http://digital.gamefly.com/#!/promotion/367

Been playing Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 tanks to this older laptop that runs on XP. Mostly I have been playing with the sandbox mode. Started by re-creating Thunder Mountain from Disneyland, Anaheim and it slowly grew into an all western themed park. The area limits of the sandbox are just a bit too small to build all of D-land within reasonable scale.
Try GOG. Since it's not super old, it may be pricier, but wait for it to come on sale. Then you don't have to worry about what version of windows you're on.

I am playing...
Path of mother fucking Exile... bitches! :P

Never even noticed this topic before. These are kind of similar to Maps in PoE. We open em' up in the eternal laboratory and go to a different plane/realm clean the area kill the boss and move on. They seem a little different, but with a similar concept.

If they're anything like maps they must be pretty fun. :D

Err all you'd have to do to reverse that choice was load the previous auto-save and watch 2 cutscene over lol
Xbox 360, and I had to do more than that. :)

I'm pretty sure I had every ending possible available to me, as I never lost anyone and always got everyone to make peace with one another and saved all lives possible throughout all three games, etc. But I fucked up and didn't get to pick my ending cause I was messing around and shot the kid. lol. I didn't know that would do anything. Was too lazy to re-do shit to go back to it after that.

Path of Exile and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 both pretty consistently.

Also playing a little Wanted: Weapons of Fate here and there, had a buddy tell me about it years ago, saying it was actually pretty good for being made after a movie, but so far I'm unimpressed. We'll see.

I just noticed the quality on those images has been severely damaged after upload. Just imagine them without the shitty pixels. lol.

Edit: Meh, the one that looks really bad is the Je'valla Dyskord one, I tried re-uploading it but no success. Oh well.

I made a new wallpaper a few weeks ago. I typically always make my own wallpapers and whatnot, but it's been awhile since I've been in a creative mood and I realized I hadn't gotten around to creating a wallpaper for my current resolution yet (after a switched monitors quite some time back on my old computer). So I typically make something that usually says "Ama-Gi Society" or "Soul Sojourner" but there are some "character" names I like to use in games a lot and decided I would actually make a wallpaper with the most common one. This also happened to be my main character in Path of Exile, so I themed it accordingly and added a few PoE exclusive elements.

My main character is a Marauder, so if you look you can see text for that as well as the Marauder's head in one of the letters. I typically make an entire image from scratch sometimes employing bits and pieces of other images in it in different ways, but this time the entire background image was found elsewhere. It just looked too good for what I wanted to do to pass up.

The second one is an old one for my old monitor/resolution, it's theme is obvious. The third one is themed similar to the second one, the cuneiform on the wallpaper means "ama-gi." The fourth one is themed as album art for a song I created, the mushroom is a tattoo done by someone not me; it was just a sketch, I did everything else to it.

1280x768
1280x800
1280x800
1920x1080

Edit: Right Click and view in a different tab to see the whole image if it's cut-off.
Edit: Tried re-uploading the Je'valla one because the quality was lost, still lost. It's now the fourth one, instead of the first one.

Eh, I've just gotten so used to PoE where it doesn't matter what class you are as any skill and any stat can be useful in innumerable ways which are all dependent upon what you want to do with them; you don't *have to* rely on items to get stats, although they can definitely help in attaining them if using passives for them is either inconvenient or impossible for your build plan. Basically, I don't understand the whole "this class is almost entirely based off this stat" thing anymore. But even in D2 I had a fairly balanced werewolf druid as my main character, but I did have others which put strongly into certain stats. It's just the druid I remember most.

Anyway, I just think big changes like that drop the value of certain items for the very reasons you listed. While understandably frustrating, for a fully released game to be making changes that impactful is very reminiscent of beta. Also, just my opinion.

Diablo III General / Re: Patch 1.0.8 and Beyond

Just another way to undermine what players have worked so hard to obtain. You grind for how long to obtain the right item with the right stats, then Blizz pisses on the economy with making the 'right' stats always attainable. Sounds like a kick in the teeth for many. I could understand a little higher probability for relevant stats, and lower probability for irrelevant stats. Eh, just my opinion.

Thought about hooking up some D3 from time to time, see what's all changed/nerfed/fucked up, but meh... I don't think I'm even capable of liking D3 anymore.
Thanks to Mo though, I get my ARPG fix with PoE just about every day. Makes me miss D2 sometimes, but anytime I try to play that I pretty much decide it's just too old and walk away. lol.

Coulda told you not to buy Dell 10 years ago. :P Actually, I probably have at one point...

Yeah, I'm betting it was the RAM, second guess Mobo.

As for RAM, if there's ever a problem with that just replace it, it's about the easiest part to replace and not too overpriced either. In my experience video cards and RAM problems go hand in hand. I've had at least two PC's now that the video cards suddenly went to shit one day, and upon replacing them there were still problems that weren't fixed until also replacing the RAM. If it's CPU or Mobo, that's when I usually rebuild, unless the rest of the computer is on par with other components at the time of the issue, then I'll go out of my way to replace it specifically.

Tough break with the double PSU's being shit. That's not too common, especially with a fairly reliable brand like Corsair.

As for your DVD, it's no big deal, that's what they make those little pinholes for. Just shove a sewing needle in there and pop that shit out. I had one night I was trying to find a game and I swore up and down that my wife was the last one to use it and looked all over the place for that fucker. She said I was the last one to use it. So finally I grab her desktop PC which she hadn't used in some time and stuck a pin in the DVD drive, sure enough there it was. LOL

Eventually got bored with it as expected, but it took a hell of a lot longer than any of the other civs. It was worth the buy. I've personally been playing Path of Exile pretty consistently for over a month now. Getting burnt out, so I'm gearing up for some distractions to keep me from getting burnt out.

I'll definitely be getting that Civ 5 expansion though.
