Well i'm using a few XP2 script functions, and alot of the fixes that came with the XP's are very welcome. So id rather not go back to the shit heap it was if I can help it. But the patches do fix alot aswell.
In the end though we can only go forward, I know GS was known for alowing all players regardless of there build to play. I'll see what I can do but as it stands its a XP1-2 module.

Ok, bit more pollishing has been done. Added a Persistant Score Board aswell, I like the sound of that.
Found a very nice little addition on the vault aswell, increases Database efficiency aswell as shrinks the database files alot aswell. Very nice.
You will notice the area's have had a big make over, but they still need pollishing.

EDIT: Well, id hoped you might want to help me there again bud. Maybe resend the one you made a while back, revised possibly.

Hah, nah Giant tree's. They look far better ingame. The pollishing is coming along well.
I'm working on a few scripts to make Belog a little more aware of his surroundings.. But i'm pretty rusty. So far ive just made him randomly comment on his surroundings based on his location and he will keep within the main dueling area aswell. I'm working on making him run checks on Players he is close too, if they are in battle he will clear all actions so not to walk right threw the duel, he will also decide if he will simply walk a short distance away or go "Home".

Belog will on a rare ocasion approach you and ask how your doing, too which you can respond and he will reply. Still working on that..
Other than that i'm making far better progress then I had done last time.

EDIT:
I have done it! I have finaly fucking done it! I mastered the art of the "Walk Mesh"~! Even made a invisible spiral staircase into the air, pretty nifty. I might implement little secrets like that to obtain various Special items. Like a mage you can meet above the halls in his sky tower (He might look familiar) That will offer you a Sentinal rune he created if you locate him a Power Essence hidden some where in the halls. The rune will have pecial properties. Like becoming a n00b Sentinal with powers that only backfire... bwahahaha. Or the portable stool (Which ive already created of course)

SoZ is worth it I believe. I know they have been pretty shit with updates our old buddies BioWare but I believe they are worthy of support.
I havent used any SoZ content as of yet but I am running the newer toolset so it will require SoZ to run.

SoU... SoZ hmmm

Options:
Oldschool LotR: Basicly its a clone of the origional GS. Same theme same layout (But still revamped)
Newage LotR: Keep the old LotR theme but update the layout of GodSpire. Bring it up to date with something different.
FLOTR:  "Fuck Lord of the rings" Bring GS up to date and totaly disregard the old look and theme.
Other: Please comment.

What do you think? hmm?

I came back too it. Shock horror! Been farting around with a couple o versions of GS. The whole new system is realy fucking annoying.
Wish it was as easy as slapping down a placable and BAM you can walk on it. But apparently everyone wants to pass right threw solid objects. So thats default.

Anyway, whatever. I'm making a poll, so vote you little bastards!

Hellgate: London / Personal Relocation
« on: June 13, 2008, 11:53:41 AM »
Ok, i'm not sure if i'm missing something.. Perhaps i'm blind but this is my problem:
I use the Personal Relocation items alot, but, for some reason the "Portal back to the battle" seems to never be there.
Is it only functional during non questing exploration? or is this a bug?.. oh.. And i'm playing single player by the by.

Anyone have any insight on this little problem?

EDIT: Ok, disregard. I solved the "problem" myself. I figured the spell simply required the devices to work Regents for the spell if you like.
Didnt actualy know the spell was a one way ticket opposed to cashing out for relocation devices. No wonder ive never had to buy them.

quick! go out and buy a Alienware system! :P it's only like $4,000
I wouldn't touch anything from dell. Besides that I wouldn't touch alienware, even before dell baught them out. They charge a rediculous amount of money for something I can get for a quarter of the price. But those cases are sexy... Flimsy.. But sexy.

Dude, don't use vista.. Its a bloated version of XP. On top of that its a disposable OS. Windows 7 will be out next year.

Cloaks make NWN intolerable

That is fixed in the 1.69 Patch actualy with a nifty ini entry.

I'll probably just host the server myself when I get enough computer parts together.

Oh, well thats good to know at least a few people are in. 420, perhaps you would like to host the SoU GS "Respawn" for a bit till I peice together a server computer?

NwN General / Re: Installation Disc 2..
« on: May 05, 2008, 07:22:10 AM »
Well thats fucked, Maybe i'll find the old SoU GS (The good one) and make some code fixes and see about resurrecting PVP like it was Pre HotU. Dex builds like those made by the Dex guru himself Rand, Str builds like my staypuff marshmellow man.. Or the ever feared monk builds. It was so much fun then.

With the new script functions implimented I have some pretty nice idea's also.

Don't uninstall NWN yet, i'll start farting around. Some graphic enhancements client side might be a nice thing for me to work on also.
You in at least?

I dont like the idea of paying interest.

Thats what interest free periods are for!

This GTA is looking like its definatly going to be the best. I hope they do port it over to the PC in the future.. But I will be buying a PS3 for Metal Gear.. so.

So i'm installing NWN again.. Might just leave it installed. I'm sick of missing GS and the like because I dont have the game installed or whatever.

Havent been around here alot either due to life stuff, moving and what have you. Moved further into the city (Sydney)
New place is pretty awsome, roof top balcony has seen alot of party use. I can spit on central station! well maybe not spit on it.. Its across the road.

Anyway, Whats new with everyone else?

EDIT: Installing my favorite expansion now.. Bah, I miss the SoU days..

Someone come online already..

I would have been on the server but every time I get back here and read its up and reach for the NWN cd's its down again.
Or at least I think it is. If anyone can confirm that the server is apples i'll install the game now. I did find some nice old characters.

Oh, also, can we play PRE HotU ? :                       O
Id love to do some old SoU dueling....

Actualy... I have been thinking about building a little server PC for ages.. And I do have a beast of a connection now..
Perhaps i'll host one?

Better if Sir Kitty Kama Weilder did it though.

University of Koblenz - Found particles that have broken the speed of light.
Einstien (unwillingly disproves his own theory - Relativity) - (only source I could find) http://homepage.mac.com/ardeshir/TrainDisp...Relativity.html

Here's a source on space/time relativity; http://www.new-science-theory.com/albert-einstein.html

I'll list more when I'm not so tired.  And what I meant was, dont simply accept what people tell you as fact, find your own answers. You may find they are wrong and how the hell would that advance you or anyone else if you spread false information?

Thought that would be obvious, but hopefully that spells it out.

I said "I call it common sense"

Find your own knowlage, running around spouting facts drawn from a text book written by some one else is useless.

Eienstien's theorys are being disproved all the time, and that is but one example of how people need to find there own answers. But he wouldnt be displeased with that. Such mistakes would only serve to advance him.
