Hey guys is anyone playing both NWN or NWN2? I've just got back and finished my 3rd year at university and was curious as to whats happening here? I take it GS is down as per usual, my server obviously is, and I would assume throbbleserv is still going.

I was considering playing NWN2 single player and online. Is it worth it? Is it fixed for multiplayer? Does anyone play it?

But Mo has agreed to host my 9 AC No Resist mod. While its no GS - it is a nice place for dueling - with a good script set up for that purpose. It is based on GodSpire with the same dispel delays and similar spell scripts - with a good True seeing fix. It uses a duel manager and contains shops + a level up guy with an edited version of the Moo filter on top of a few of my own ones. So guys please come play - Mo is around - 420 you are around and you still have admin status - Mercy apparently plays a servervault so you should come. Throbble too - Cannixx - Ryu - Hubba - Mel - Talon - Anheg come on. A few of the Antediluvians play there aswell.

It is in action - called 0 # No Resist 9 AC PvP

Thanks Mo - That would be a great idea - but I would first ask you why not host GS? It is the 9 AC that mine is based on and in most ways better with a few exceptions. So if thats the case try with GS - because we all like GS more than mine, but if for some reason that is not possible or desirable. I'l send my mod pronto. With regard to Gamespy blocking ports - mabye they want NwN to die so they can focus on other games.

I'm hosting my server on my desktop machine and it's only up for about 12 hours a day. I've been thinking about setting up a Linux stand-alone server but the apartment is too small for that so it will have to wait until we move.

What hosting port problem are you having? I haven't had any problems since 1.69 and I host the weekly CEP meetings so I know others can see my server just fine.

It seems to be a widespread problem - amoung a lot of people playing NwN. There are two probable 'causes' based on rumours that have been floating around. 1) The new patch has something that blocks hosting. 2) GameSpy has added something that blocks hosting.

The rumour is that anyone who has opened ports for hosting a NwN mod in the past and then subsequently closes them - will be unable to host on those ports ever again once they are re-opened. That seems to be a big problem as I opened ports 5119 - 5300 for NwN and then closed them. Now I can't host on them anymore due to either 1) or 2).

Guys I am looking for a host - since this bloody 1.69/Gamespy has stuffed up the hosting ports. Ive been trying to host my mod for an age now - with no success due to these changes. So anyone willing to host please contact me. 420?

Today, Smith Hold saw Calia, Elessar, Tyreal and Red Ronnet - all in quick succession. It was absolutely great to see you all, but it would be greater still to see more of you at once - like the old days, as it were. We could get ours duels on. And also, Red is running a 9AC GodSpireHaven mod. Check it out and let us know how it goes.

Cheers I was using 40, thinking if 20 was giving me 10, then 40 would give me 20. Il try 30 now and it should work. btw what script handles the skill checks, such as hide vs spot, taunt vs conc?

Someone decided that Epic Arcane Archers weren't powerful enough and made a script to fix it.

Improved AA scriptsWhile this doesn't conform to the official D&D rules it may be interesting to add to a certain 9AC PvP server that Ser Red is hosting in "Arena". (Called GodSpire Haven) *hint hint*

If nothing else, it would at least make these feats useful in a level 40 duel.

Its rather annoying to have my account deleted/lost, here. Really odd aswell. Anyway the mods up and running, every day. I think Il pass on those AA scripts, but what i would like to know is, is it possible for standard nwnscript to handle adding up to 20 damage to an item? They dont seem to have the constants for a damage type of 20. While it also seems maxed at 10.
