Title: Avatar pic problems

Some poeple have problems whit getting their avatar picture on LM.
If you have problems, some information would be welcome, like:
-> kind of file ( .jpg .gif .png .... )
-> the size of it ( xxx kb, pixels X pixels )
-> from where are you trying to put it on the board ( a URL, local file )
-> what kind of error you get.
-> anything else that could be usefull to know.

Just post any question about avatar pictures here.

she did that because she didn't know how to change her portrate to a badger other than that way, people with - posts get a badger now i guess

Well, or you change your postcount, or you change the members ranks in the adminpanel.
Nathan did set it so, I'm not changing it myself. but... Negatif post count starting from -1000 to -1 gives a cute badger :lol: that's how I did it.

What do you get if you have more (or less i guess) than -1000 posts? And how many posts do you need to get rid of this stupid bone thing?

Well 350 post gives the next pic ... but ... don't start to spam to get rid the current pic you have  :P

thorb, leave the pictures, don't remove them. if you want i can change yours to a differnet portrate

I got an idea, how about if members choose a "racial" type to be in their profile, then the pictures would reflect that.

Example:

Animal
0-100 Badger
100-200 Dog
200-300 Wolf
300-400 Dire Wolf
400-500 Bear
500-600 Dire Bear

Undead
0-100 Skeleton
100-200 Zombie
200-300 Ghoul
300-400 Wight
400-500 Vampire
500-600 Lich

Or something along those lines?
I would be happy to rank the creature portraits for you. I'm a big Monter Manual buff and have a pretty good grasp on Creature Ratings.

I'll see if I can do something, but I don't see a standard way yet. Maybe a someone else has a idea how. Editing the php script would allow it for sure, but that's a lot of work and maybe far from the best way. At the moment I think this. Adding a race like the favourite class now. And useing a IF function in the php scripts to take the right picture depending on posts and race. But it's really a lot of work to do it. But it's definitively a nice idea.
