Title: Who in the hell are the Antideluvians!?!?
Post by: 420 on September 06, 2004, 01:20:57 PM: OK, so I have seen a couple Lizardfolk belonging to a clan called the Antideluvians running around GodSpire recently. They seem to be a clan of arcane casters, though i did see one ranger.

Anyway, they asked for their own clan area in GS, of course I had to tell them it may take some time since there are more pressing things that need to be finished first.

Right after that conversation GodSpire became overrun with lizards!!! I mean like six of them all came on and started dueling each other, discussing scary caster strategies and planning attacks on Doriath, the Mauraders AND DE, ultimatly planning on taking over their clan areas!

OH, and I noticed that none of them use True Seeing on their items.

Well, that's what my covert ops mission recovered, only one picture came out though:

Frankly, I think the rest of you clannies should be worried, because the Antedeluvians run a tight ship- none of this ranking up because you've been breathing fior a week. Oh no, they require demonstrations of prowess and knowledge.

they can be quite a handful when they tag team; a while back three of them were on me in angband and i could hardly hold em off dammit! course i was usin my mage and we all know how much i suck at mage :rolleyes:

I cryed of laughter.There are about 10 of them,all lvl 20.I think Lord Anheg and Lord Roncescal could take them all.

As far as I remember only Morticia was decent (okay...she managed to damage me a bit...), the others werent' as good.

But then, this was last week, so I'm a bit outdated w/ GS happenings.

As for tag team...don't ask me about it. I've absolutely NO experience doing team duels.

Post by: Mercy on September 07, 2004, 01:00:58 PM: Well I have seen most of them dueling, and they duel something fierce. They seem to progress with each duel. I have been watching, maybe even helping them with stradegy, but usually not :P. lol. They will be getting better soon, just give em time.

I can see it now... Talon plans to train a bunch of newbies to humiliate players by beating level 40 duelers with these level 20 duelers! Diabolical!

The only way they beat me is to HW me to death then stun me. As for the other people who say that there a threat, i can pwn alot of them with my mage and trust me, im the shittest mage out there. Well, it looks like I was right! (Sometimes I hate being right)

Talon is indeed in the Antideluvian clan, he has gone from Apprentice to High Mage in what seems to be a single day AND he IS training his fellow clan members to kick level 40 dueler butt with level 20 duelers!!!

I hate it when my scariest, far-out theories turn out to be true!!!!!

...Although I kinda expected Talon to be more of a Rakshasa kinda guy. Regardless, this should be interesting. :)

2 anheg there are hardly ever big groups on rune and when there are its normally just cuz lots of players are bored and come on cuz they like the torture or slightly less laggy enviroment(you gotta admit, having a new server like that is generally a good thing cuz it generally less laggy when hosted from a decent computer) ofcourse it wouldnt be that way if all the most powerful mages on gs came on and started having a war lol..... (ie taffy mo anarki nem soulkeeper, *another name im too lazy to think of*, *another name im too lazy to think of*......) lol

I just learned from Morticia that she quit the Antideluvians and took most of the members with her. Looks like the Antideluvians have disbanded.
