This post is to let any forum lurkers know that Godspire PVP has been rehosted on Beamdog's NWN:EE matchmaking service. I have done some sanity testing to determine that I believe that nothing is extremely broken but we will only know as player log in and report back here.
It's been many years since this mod has seen the light of day so let's take it day by day and hopefully we can have it working just as well as it was before Gamespy decided to abandon NWN.

Yes! I was there aswell, bit nostalgic talking about the old times, and the randomer trying to attack us, calling mo a hacker... xD
Now we just need more people from the old times to join! (or anyone at least)

I heard about it, sorry I missed it. I've been on a couple times but I'm currently playing through DOOM Eternal, the new quests in the Fallout 76 Wastelanders expansion, and collecting the new sets in Diablo 3.
I've only been able to locate a couple of my PvP characters and none of Throbble's. I believe all the NWN character files are intact on one of these old computers stacked next to my desk. The question is, how do I get the files from a PC with no USB port to a PC with no 3.5" floppy drive?

Well... internet/LAN would be the easier way, otherwise the only thing i can think of would be an HDD case... and considering you say it has floppy disk it will most likely be an IDE HDD... dunno if you can still get those... or if youre lucky enough for the motherboard to have a SATA port to just attack another HDD to it.

So, here's the problem:
T = throbblefoot
F = 420
# = HD
T1 = throbble's current HD (no GS chars)
T2 = throbble's old HD on old compy w/ cat-5 (coax) and a CD burner (all throbble's GS chars)
F1 = 420's current HD (two GS chars WTF!?)
F2 = 420's old HD (all 420's GS chars)
The compy with T2 can be hooked back up and, presumably, connected to the new internet provider. Alternately, I can use the CD burner to transfer less than a meg of files to T1. Either option requires moving a lot of shit around and temporarily reclaiming a power outlet or two. (Still in a 100-year-old one bedroom apartment after all these years.)
As for F2, it is inside my current compy but, because of the case I have, I can't quite get the data and power cable to connect with all the other shit in there. So, I need to open my compy, disconnect F1 and connect F2 then copy those files to a mem stick and switch them back.

Hey! Yes GS is being hosted now. You should see it online....The module is called PvP (All Ver Compatible) EE. There are a few people who seem to show up every day or so...Obviously it's not very busy but there's nothing stopping it from becoming so. I'm happy to jump on with you!

It's great - one of the exits had broken on one of the areas - still got a load of my old characters. I wonder if any people will join. What time are you normally free?

Oh yeh ... btw I've been an idiot and reloaded the mod by mistake (unfortunately.... it didn't end up reloading). Can you put it back up when you get a chance Mo?
