Well it's about time to spring for a new monitor to go along with my new vid card. So the question is which one.
I'm thinking about two? An Asus and a Samsung. The interesting thing about the Samsung is that it's 4K res. Granted it's $200 more but that premium for 4K seems pretty good no?
I'm guessing as far as 4K screens go it much be a little bargain basement....but..it's 4K!
Any opinions?

The problem is, while Samsung is known for being first to put out new high end products, they are over-priced and tend to have a relatively short life (probably because the tech is so new). I'm sure Asus will eventually offer a similar resolution, and when they do it will be less expensive and more reliable.

Asus has a 4K monitor but it's over $2000. Definitely the low priced Samsung must use cheaper components and technology.

I actually have two 24" Dell's right now that I love. But I'm going to upgrade in a couple months with 2 or 3 28"s. A buddy from work has the same setup and it's amazing. lol

I've had my 27" Asus for a few years now. Love it.
