Got a laugh out of this one

They seem to be mixing game developers with game publishers.
Couple missing:
id Software: Survivalist Friend. Built up an arsenal of big fucking guns in preparation for the coming invasion, be it from aliens, demons, nazis, or alien demon nazis!
BioWare: Friend with the really cool erector set who inexplicably gave it away one day to the bug-ridden hiker.
Westwood: That nice guy who lived down the street that you talked to a few times then he moved away without a word.

Haha well done! They should add those.
-
LucasArts: The free loving, light hippie, born from big money, who held back from the drugs because he was doing his own thing. He radiated with cool back then, but now, due to many corporate re-orginizations, he's had his dreams crushed, his outlook dictated by home office, and is now buried in a sub-cubicle under EA's management with two mortgages and will be laid off to save money on the fiscal year.

Damn I miss Tie-Fighter...

Quite accurate. Hilarious. Nice one, 420 spot on!
I think the mixing is due to the PC not being a video game company, so they probably needed to pull some large pc game contributors out just for that reason.

They just said "Video game companies". Pretty general, would include both devs and publishers.
