Maybe this can end confusion. I can send a filter to talon, or if he prefers to make it himself, that whoever uses spell slot bonuses, to have like glowing dots on there heads or some kind of identification.
So then, all the mages that love to duel with spell slots, can have there duels. And the people that you duel with will know that you have spellslot. Well that my opinion.

I second Talon's response, and I suggest that, not only do you send him your filter but you also send him your 84ab unbuffed dueler build, or is that virus still giving you trouble?

Actually it would be possible to put some sort of identification on people who have an extra spell slot item right? (i.e. Flaggy or Sent lights). If you could find out the integer constants for the Spell slot bonuses property you could do something like:
return IPGetHasItemPropertyOnCharacter(oPC,ITEM_PROPERTY_BONUS_SPELL_SLOT_OF_LEVEL_N);
I could be wrong though so laugh at my post if you must :P

Sorry if it wasn't clear. I was making light of the fact that Viper had the audacity to presume that he could provide Talon with a filter that wasn't completely feeble to what Talon can implement. Viper assumed that Talon didn't filter/flag spell slot property users because he didn't know how. Completely absurd!
Viper is just another overconfident clueless.

not sure, prolly would take more effort, but if Spell slots are removed (like they were b4) could there be a way to exclude TS from the "removal system"

Would be simple to do, but why?
Surely giving certain class combinations an additional bonus would shift the balance somewhat?
not really, most of the melee's i've fought have TS...and mose magi have that epic armor or what ever it is that absorbs like 2k physical dmg....so it'd still be even

Ill explain to you:
Epic warding - takes 1 whole feat, and a bunch of base spellcraft skill. Also requires at least 21 sorc/wiz/bard levels - meaning you must miss out on MANY other bonuses to get it, oh - and it only blocks physical damage.
Additional level 1 spellslot bonus - Requires no skill, no sacrifice of skills/feats, costs a pittance in gp.
I hope that sums it up quite nicely
You know what's really funny...heh, everytime there's a change (with spellcasters) Mo has to remake his mage. Even tho I'm sure Mo knows the blueprint for his unbeatable caster pretty well now, it still must be a pain in the ass for him.
Yeesh, he's gotta add every spell over n' over :D
Hmmph, this was kinda off topic, sorry guys.
MO > U *Edit* That means Mo is greater than you btw...ehem, yeah *cough* awkward moment *clears throat* K bye

Can you pour me a glass of whatever you're drinking :D
*feels like a total n00b* but....um why is extra spells so bad (really doesn't know)...i haven't noticed mage vs mage fights lasting that long....so why reduce the spells?

Look, the extra spell slot issue is closed (please lock this topic someone). The only reason people started posting here again is because Viper replied 21 days after the last reply.
This is why you should drudge up old topics, it confuses people. 21 days may not seem old, but consider that the forums are relativly new.
