I thought I'd make a separate thread from the screenshots thread specifically for bragging, uh, I mean showing off your equipment.

(Keep in mind this is only a level 9 weapon being used by Throbble's level 6 sniper. It will get much bigger as she upgrades it at the Nano Forge.)

That's one of the cool things about Hellgate, when you install a weapon mod it actually appears on the weapon.

Sucks that it cant be put on a drone, but it requires an energy pool to function which a drone doesnt have. Meh!

I found a couple nice weapons today and crafted a sweet shield last night.

Always, ALWAYS check the crafter whenever you enter a station.

This is my new favorite sword, it replaced my old favorite, a rare Shatterscythe. When it is equipped the curved, serrated blade VIBRATES back and forth!

So this is now the most tweaked out item i have at the moment. It's difficult to weild since its willpower draw is pretty high. the mods you cant see are as follows:
Ghostly Battery: 12% spectral damage
Sacred Fuel: 18% damage
Sacred Rocket: 17% damage, 11% toxic damage
Flame Rocket: 12% fire damage
Flame Rocket: 11% fire damage, 69% critical chance vs. beasts
Ameliorating relic: power regen 55/min, +4 willpower

that relic actually makes it possible for me to equip this sucker

That gun is insane looking.

Here is my old rocket launcher, which is probably my favorite gun in Hellgate so far. It's been upgraded to it's maximum level so this is as big as it gets:

Here is the new replacement. It is literally the biggest gun I have ever found. It takes 8 inventory spaces instead of the usual 6 for big guns. (Check out the shield penetrations mods on that sucker!)

I finally got my hands on a legendary Thermo Cannon. I crafted this last night. It replaces my old enhanced one (seen a few posts above). I swapped out the shield piercing mods for some higher level critical chance and critical damage mods.

Nothing quite like a high crit chance splash damage weapon!

Holy Crap! (Again!)

I was doing the first set of side quests in nightmare Tottenham Court Road and I completed the mini-game and I GOT TWO UNIQUES! Not only that but one of them was Mantle of Sydonai!

You can see the items next to each other in my inv.

This rifle was a "Loki" class as opposed to "Posiedon" or "Triton" Its got an improved rate of fire but dies sacrifice some damage for it.

Dunbar's Disrupter seems to be a highly sought after item in the trade channel. Throbble found one recently!

I just started using this one for my critical marksman, Very handy since it boosts the skills she uses.

And here is the Veteran and Gunny's mistress since 420 keeps asking me about them. Two very good guns. The Gunny's Mistress keeps the bullets in a nice almost pinpoint pattern espically since I've modded it with even more accuracy.
*note: the Veteran has gone through about 2 or 3 upgrades already.

Here is the rest of the stats and the mods (the 30 will requirement includes 14 from the mods):

So here is how the damage breaks down:

2-3 damage X 5 damage types = 10-15 damage/shot

10-15 damage/shot X 10 shots/sec = 100-150 damage/sec

Now we'll add some Multishot (2 extra projectiles per shot) into the mix for fun!

100-150 damage/sec X 3 = 300-450 damage/sec

Now I'm done with math but Rapid Fire adds 130% faster firing rate and 24% more damage.

Sweet.

I found a suscriber only unique topic on the HGL forums but it seems that a lot people are panning most of the items posted. Sure its a mid grade rifle and its starting damage is small next to a Loki, but find me another wepon with a crit chance in double digits!

Heh, that's one way to look at it. It would be cool if we could get a "Add Sockets to an Item" as a quest reward in an expansion like Diablo 2 did.

I find a lot of really nice legendary mods at the Crafter. Always check when you go to a station.

I laod the game, it says there are no updates avalible. I load in, and it says to download this patch and kicks me to a website. I download the patch and when I run it it starts the .exe and installers and shit but within a minute says that files are corrupted and says to redownload.

Im done downloading that patch. Its not small and its happened twice now.

When I patched it I didn't save to patch to my HD I just had it run the thing. If you have Vista then you might try running the patch in compatability mode for XP because Vista sucks. If you haven't tried that already that is. Also the auto kick to the website from the launcher didn't work for me so I just logged directly into the main site and got it there.

I just upgraded some 1.0 armor to 1.1 and the shields went from 127 to 186 without the equip cost increasing! Sweet.

My guardian is finally able to wield the massive legendary sun shield that Moloch dropped for me last week.

I figured out why the stat drain on this sucker is so massive and the object size so huge. Turns out it's the only shield with splash damage, which means if I get surrounded by 6 fellboars and I do a shield turn each fellbore will get hit 6 times! They never survive a single shield turn now.

Also check out the Purple Machine's new look:

AND marvel at his amazing resists (this is with the max 8 creatures in his salvation aura):
Note: the "6" is cut off so it's hard to see but the top 4 resists are all above 6,000.

So here is how the damage breaks down:

2-4 damage X 5 damage types = 10-20 damage/shot

10-20 damage/shot X 10 shots/sec = 100-200 damage/sec

Now we'll add some Multishot (2 extra projectiles per shot) into the mix for fun!

100-200 damage/sec X 3 = 300-600 damage/sec

I finally got enough Nanoshards to upgrade my Thermo cannon from it's pre-1.0 max level to the new max for the nanoforge.

I found these 3 uniques within 30 minutes of each other in Wake Hallow. Two of them dropped off normal (non-boss) creatures!

I'm beginning to see why Lee's Lightlance is so popular. Check out the ignite strength on that sucker. Add that to my full Fawkes armor and I got 1185 ignite strength being delivered at 600 shots per minute. Not to mention the +18% elemental strength from my expertise.
