When you try getting rid of this crap, do it in safe mode, stop it from running if it is, delete it from the registry, and hunt down it's files.

Throbble had some malware installed awhile back that couldn't be removed because even in safe mode the file that needed to be deleted was "in use" so it couldn't be removed.
Make a boot disk instead and try booting off that.

tried a "unlocker" it "unlocks" programs that are "in use" so you can remove them saved me a lot of time with viruses/spyware etc...

Actually, this may be the very reason that my father in law's computer keeps reverting all the drivers the day after I upgrade them. I didn't even know that horrible excuse for an option even existed. I mean, Microsoft may as well give you a fucking read-only-hard-drive*.

There are way worse default options in Windows. Take advance write-cache options for hard drives. If thats enabled and you have a power outtage or system crash, be prepared for corruption on grand scales.
