Send me the mod and I will post SS. :P I can play it right now. :D
The EB Games a couple blocks from me should be getting it tomorrow. Oh they hate to see my coming.
I usually get there when they open (between 9 and 10 depending what flakes are working) and they always tell my they don't get deliveries until after noon. So then I go next door to the Gold Dust Lounge and drink, returning every 30 minutes or so to ask them if the game has been delivered yet.
By the time I get it I'm usually pretty wasted and they are so sick of me that they make sure to get me out the door as quick as possible.
Works every time.

Careful, 420. One of these days they might begin to construe this as cruel and unusual punishment! lol

I dont care how much you make fun of the people waiting in line first day release for FF, but dont hate in general.

I don't hate in general, I hate very specifically.
-420
he said it'd be up when nwn2 comes out, and assuming that he didnt' get screwed over with its arrival at whereever he buys it from(unless its from online), he probably has had it up since he found the nwn2 dedicated server after installing

Well, considering Talon lives in the U.K. (last I heard), we have no idea when it will be released there.

I guess the Atari dinosaur is just giving everyone one last "screw you" before it dies.

However, the GeForce 5X series is definitely not good enough. Throbble had to upgrade from the 5600 to a 7600 because the toolset was crashing too much.
Also notice that the only accepted operating system is Windows XP.

thx 420 the system req doesn't seem like oblivion much lol..
The initial update is taking forever...

Yeah, well consider the number of people trying to download it right now. On Diablo 2's release date we brought down Pac Bell's DSL service in San Francisco because everyone was trying to download the first patch at the same time.

Took me 45 minutes to finish.
The game is so jumpy and laggy that I cant really do anything smoothly. I cant play it until I find out how to turn the graphics down.

 what kind of pc you have anheg are the system req so high then or is it your 3d-card...?

Yikes really? Well I'll be using a Geforce 4400Ti until I upgrade with Vista. I'm pretty sure the game will run fine on lower resolutions.

Took about 5 minutes for me to download/install the patch.
Mo, I seriously doubt you'll be able to even run NWN2 with a 4400, I don't believe the 4000 series has pixel shader 2.0. My 5200 didn't even have it.
And now for my NWN2 trials:
I got 2 copies, unfortunately the EB Games in San Francisco didn't get the collector's edition (even though the one in the next town over did) so I just bought the normal version. Fuck Atari, they don't get my extra money because they suck too much to properly distribute a game.

Yikes i'm using the same card :o alltough I was able to run oblivion on medium settins  it should work normal if you have 1 gig ram and a 2.5 ghz processor i think i mean I saw a gameplay movie of nwn 2 and the graphics were pretty much the same like nwn1 only with a lil bit modifications.
@Mo
I think you'll need to upgrade the 3d-card lol it has to have a 2.0 shader if you don't wan't to spend a lot of money a radeon 9800 of a GeForce 5800 or smt would be a good choice....

Dammit all! Well I have a junky geforce 6200 lying around some where. I'm sure that has Shader 2.0
Anyway I got the game! First impressions (obviously pre-installation):
Cool new races and classes! Deep gnomes rock! WTF they put Issac's missile storms back in the game. Wonder what they were smoking. Grrr they put the screwed up Bigby's spells back in too. Wonder how many bugs are flying around lol...probably tons.
Also I was a little annoyed to see NWN2 will be using Lamespy again...man. Lastly, 7 disk?!?! C'mon give us a DVD-ROM already, it's 2006 for god's sake.
I shall install and attempt to play soon.

Ah Mo you missed my foaming rant on the Bioware forums many months ago about NWN2 using Gamespy!
I got the DVD version because the Collectors Edition wasn't available at the EB Games in SF (though it did arrive in nearby locations) so I'm not surprised that various versions of the game weren't at random locations.
Let us all hope that the dead, festering carcass of Atari plagues us no further.

For your information the GeForce 6200 has a 3.0 shader :D
nwn2 has the same voices as nwn1 had rofl.

So it's been established. Link. (http://lucidmagic.net:8080/forum/index.php?showtopic=2454&st=0&p=32246entry32246) Pretty pathetic I think. One thing I had hoped for from NWN2 better music and sounds, as well as more complexity to voices and more things they say... That the fact is otherwise is quite pathetic.
wee i got the game patching it atm weee :good:

Balls to you.
Exact same voices?? That's lame.

Sadly that's true indeed the voices are EXACTLY the same like in nwn 1 lol...
