does it matter if i pick Pvp or Rp character  just wanna know befor, dont know if its liek a server place ment or whatever or how it works hehe >,> tryin to figure out how ill beable to play with you guys

it does matter... you have to unlock skills in rp to use them in pvp

You can have 4 characters per account, since you can only unlock the skills of your primary and secondary profession it would be a good idea to make a couple RP characters that don't share the same classes. Your RP characters can become PvP characters eventually, so keep that in mind.

For instance, I have a Warrior/Monk and a Mesmer/Elementalist that are RP characters. The Warrior/Monk is PvP ready and the Mesmer/Elementalist will be soon.

So with those builds I have unlocked a substantial amount of skills, weapon upgrades and runes (armor upgrades) for 4 of the 6 professions. At any time I can delete and remake my PvP only character to take advantage of any combination of those 4 professions. (ie Warrior/Elementalist or Elementalst/Monk for instance)

You must find an animal charmer. There is one standing next to the ranger that gives you the charm animal skill in pre-searing. There is another one right outside of Ascalon City in post-searing.

Thomas, post your name AND PM it to me here.  I am Psyondra Kanrei (monk/warrior) and Reagan Kanrei (necromancer/mesmer).

I also have a Ranger/Ele, but I never use her.  The combo of R/E is great though.  Water has great defense skills incase you get surrounded.  There really is no "perfect combo" since there are so many skills and only 8 that can be used at once, the combos are endless and I guarentee that no one has found "THE" combo yet.
If you want in a guild, I have asked about getting you into ours.  It is now up to you.  
Let me know any help you need.

I found the perfect combo! Sprint + Healing Breeze + run away from the monsters and don't look back = Unbeatable Build! (Helps to scream, "AHHHHHH run away!" while doing this combo for some reason.)

Throbble will probably invite Thomas tonight now that he posted his character name.

Spring + Healing Breeze won't work in pvp if you run into ranger with pin down or worst if you get stucked in barbed / spiked trap. So it's better to have something to dodge/evade attacks, but running won't help in pvp also so it's best to have a hammer with 16 strenght and endure pain :P :D
