Title: null bodies
Post by: spring1978uk on July 13, 2004, 03:35:29 PM
Heya ppl. Someone got into Godspire with a null body and was randoming ppl, and the sents couldnt target them for freezing and we had to scare him off by threatening them with a ban of their CD key. Arent null bodies booted upon entry or something, and is there a way to make them targettable or damageable?

Dm's can do somthing against it, but sents ... dunno, exept talking them out like I did, but that doesn't works always.

Yeah DM's can get at 'em with the creator... but not much else than that.

Dude.. I almost understood what you're talkin about!  I must be getting more familiar with NWScript.

Interestingly even when Talon's block was enabled there was this one guy who was able to appear and disappear seemingly at will...he was a headless char with no visable clothes on...plus when he moved around there was no animiation on his char.  Quite odd it was.

well, it could have been someone that changed their "race" in-game (which only changes their appearance) and other races may have more head appearances than halfling/gnomes.

lets just say for an example, lets say there are 14 human heads sets. and there are 9 halflings, if the person chooses human 10-14... they will become headless in halfling form (remember, this is not the true number of heads, its just an example)

so they become headless. talon may also want to look into making a player list on the sent rune which allows the sent to select anyone they choose on the server...

info and an idea =D

My monk has null biceps, Its actually done by the armor, set the appearance to 100-200 or so and it becomes null...

I usually only do this with biceps and thighs of my chars <.<

He would have been using CEP robes - i believed I had fixed that as well.
If someone could check i would be most grateful

My check only verifies that chest and pelvis are not null.
Basically, so people remain clickable :D

Some old players (namely elverin) used to like roleplaying a one-armed fighter - which is my reason for limiting the checks to just the neccessary parts.

As for heads, I dont really care if someone is headless - they just look moronic. :)
