Thats not Black Sabbath HeLL, thats Deep Purple. :D

That's what happens when people mislabel songs. <_<
Besides listening to my dad bitch at me over the phone, I am now listening to:
Wut Will Nicht Sterben - Rammstein & Die Puhdy's
Thats not Black Sabbath HeLL, thats Deep Purple. :D

I actually did a "look up album information" thing for it to try and fix the mislabeling. And it only came up with a CD by Black Sabbath. And supposedly the song is an in-concert version, so perhaps it was a cover by them?
You ever hear music that sounds like a mix of opera and metal? Ever hear Therion? lol.
Summer Night City - Therion
That was a pointless post.

not really. I just posted what I was listening to, which is what the whole thread's about =P
-Elessar
PS: More Rent.
Doesn't "puta" mean "whore" rather than "bitch?" At least in California/Mexico/Spain/Portugal I hear it does...
-Throbblefoot

So long as I'm at it, doesn't "te quiero" mean "I want you" rather than "I love you" (which would be "te amo")?
If so, the song is "I want you, whore" which, even for this forum, is aiming low.
-Throbblefoot

Actually is how i said, maybe thats only in mexico or around there, no1 here in spain says "te amo" so "te quiero" is "i love you" and i never used whore either ;)
by the way translators are messed up :P they always give the most useless translation at least for spanish
not really. I just posted what I was listening to, which is what the whole thread's about =P

PS: More Rent.

Oh, well then next time, post artist/song like it says to in the first post. It looked much more like rant rant rant rant to me, maybe it's because I have no idea wtf rent is?
Zwitter - Rammstein
You don't want to know the meaning of the song or it's lyrics with this one either, that means, don't post a translation. -_-
maybe it's because I have no idea wtf rent is?

I pity you. Rent is a very good "rock" musical. Wikipedia Article on Rent. Read for more information. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rent_%28musical%29)
Currently: Over the Moon as sung by Idina Menzel
-Elessar
I asked my friend about it:
"He says he pities me for not having heard of a band called rent. Have you heard of rent before?"
"Yeah."
"They any good?"
"f*** no."
Rofl! I believe him. lol.
Wo Bist Du - Rammstein

It's not a band. Did you read my post at all? It's a musical!
=P
La Vie Boheme - maincast of Rent
If I didn't read your post at all, I couldn't have replied with that.
A musical!? Rofl, I am glad I haven't heard of it then! I hate musicals. And yes, there is a band called that. Which, according to HeLLSpAwN, are a group of wannabe punk-rockers who can't even do that correctly lol.
I fucking hate you - Godsmack

Good.
Goodbye Love - Rent(main cast)
I am suprised you have never heard of Rent, but dont be sad in any way shape or form. Rent the movie was ok by musical terms, but in my opinion...ITS HORRIBLE!
BTW, Rent is NOT a rock musical. Rock in my view refers to Def Leopard and Led Zepplin, and the like. Rent should never be compaired to their greatness.

Hence the quotation around the word "rock." Several sources claim its a rock musical, but I disagree. Rent the movie is pretty good, i'm waiting to see it live though

Te quiero is used in spain to express your love for someone.
Puta is generally softer than whore - more equivalent to bitch (which can also purvey the same meaning) A more agressive form would be "guarra", or "puta guarra", which would be derogatory term relating to a whore.

Mocking? No, all these songs that I'm listing I actually listen to on a regular basis!
Hmm, the fools upstairs just lost their incense holder out of their window and it landed on the building owner's porch. I wish people would take a day off from being insane in this city every once in awhile. Man it's hot.

I'll take a stab and say it's the fact that show tunes are such a prominent part of your music listening tastes. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Probably the most famous of which was "Alice's Restaurant".
Arlo Guthrie's father, Woody Guthrie was possibly the greatest folk musician in American history. Years after Woody died the family found a bunch of songs he wrote but never put to music. They asked Billy Bragg and Wilco to write music for them and so far they have released two albums of his songs (Mermaid Avenue (http://wilcoworld.net/records/mermaid1.php) and Mermaid Avenue 2 (http://wilcoworld.net/records/mermaid2.php)).

Lost in the Crowd - Shinedown
Dimmu Borgir - Hybrid Stigmata

Superb track choice I must say Hybrid Stigmata - The Apostasy. I think i'll take a cue from that. Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia is definatly one of the greats next to Stormblast and In Sorte Diaboli.
Speaking of which;
The Serpentine Offering - Dimmu Borgir
