Hey y'all, hope everyone is safe and healthy out there. We're not locked down out here just yet but I think "shelter in place" is coming soon. Good thing I've been sheltering in place naturally for years.

There are a couple Howards servers up. I've played on both of them. Do you have a Steam account? We could connect on there as well.

I've been playing on Dungeoneternal X. There aren't any local vault PvP servers anymore. I'm not sure if Cochy (Mo) has Godspire anymore. I could host it if possible, but haven't chatted with him much recently.

lol, I forgot about "Randomers". Fuck, I miss this community. I've been playing NWN:EE on DungeonEternalX lately. No local vault PvP servers though. If I had the GodSpire module I would probably run it on one of my Docker servers.

Nice, I've been waiting for the PDK quest to finish. :D I'll have to make some more characters and get on. I've been having an issue with the toolset where if I create a placeable and place it on a tileset the toolset crashes. Not sure what the problem is. Waiting to see if Beamdog updates it or not.

PC: Fallout 76

Mobile: Looney Tunes World of Mayhem

Nintendo Switch (Christmas Present for Throbble and me): Diablo 3

Tried to install Zelda on the switch but not enough space to install it AND D3 so we're waiting for a micro sd card in the mail.

The Smith Hold NWN:EE server is still up (almost) daily but no one ever visits.

Uh, if you had visit logs you would see that I had been on there two or three days in a row!

Not playing too much right now. Been pretty busy. I did recently do a campaign with some friends on NWN:EE. Also played some MTG: Arena and Destiny 2.

What is up folks! Umm those screenshots look like the original game, not "enhanced" at all lol

Yeah, it's not as big of an upgrade as their other games.

The big selling points are that they're fixing the master server issues. So all multiplayer servers will report correctly again. Updating the game to handle modern architecture better. (Hopefully allowing multicore use.) And they'll be consistently adding updates from what has been reported.

I can't think of a game that I have enjoyed more than NWN. If there was a modern game with all of the features that NWN had, I would be all over it. I for one am excited and hope that it at least breaths new life in the community and maybe even opens up some eyes in the gaming industry. Depending on it's success, maybe we can see a NWN 3 or game in that vein.

There is a new version of NWN coming out. Beamdog is working on it. They're the company that has remastered a bunch of DnD games. I.E: Baldurs Gate, Icewind Dale, etc. The pre-order is $20 and you get early access. It is backwards compatible with old NWN mods.

They're upgrading some of the graphics features, enabling 4k, etc.

The heck is a "Skyrim IV?" I assume you mean The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?

I am back on Path of Exile again, and have been since mid-January. (I played Grim Dawn before it) There are a lot of games I want to play and have gotten ready to play or started but am waiting to finish Legacy League in PoE. I re-started the original Witcher about a month ago, and played through to a certain point when I decided to focus back on PoE. I intend to play the 2nd and 3rd Witcher as well, which I recently got on sale. I also plan to re-play Skyrim fully loaded with mods in the new special edition version sometime soon, as well as the Amnesia games I recently got. I am also excited for a return to Subnautica and Terraria in the future, with all of the updates that have come out for them. On the list to play again/some more is also The Long Dark, but I'm waiting for them to finish the main story first, unless there's too many major content updates to resist.

Oh, and I'm still playing Zombidle. About a year of playing that now.

There is an Oblivion mod for Skyrim. It actually looks pretty good. I've been meaning to check it out.

I've been playing NWN a bit. Because I can't ever stop. And I've played a little D3 with some friends from work. Other than that I haven't been playing anything.

Started playing SW:TOR again. The new expansion has a chapter in the story line released every month and I've missed each month since Jan. Pretty fun. Sort of a single player facet in an online game. The story is fun to go through and since each class has it's own story, lots of replayability. At least until you do them all. :P

It's alright, I don't want to inconvenience you guys. Probably time to let the past die down. Games don't seem to have the same sense of community anymore.

Rather than diggin' out my NWN cds from storage, I bought the Diamond edition on GOG for $10.  Installed and it runs great on Windows 10.  There was a problem with setting the resolution that took only a little trouble shooting.  Doing a full play through and geesh, Desther is really tough.  I also installed X-Mouse that allows you to customize mouse controls for just about any software.  With this I switched the middle and right mouse buttons in the game.

I still play every now and then. I used to log onto Throbbleserv every so often, but it hasn't been up in some time unfortunately. :(

I haven't played Rust or any of the ME series unfortunately. This weekend has been open beta for Overwatch, so I've been playing that. And preparing for a job interview on Monday.

There is also a new server list: http://www.nwnlist.com/ That way you can list your server online. I've heard of an application that allows you to have an ingame list again. But I haven't tried it.

The module creator isn't as powerful a tool as the Toolset in NWN was, and honestly I expect modern releases to look like modern releases. The graphics looked like they could have predated NWN.

I agree that the module creator isn't as powerful of a tool. But with the way the game was designed, it was never meant to be. I do, however, disagree with you regarding the graphics. They are way more fluid and detailed than NWN and NWN2. The areas are much more dynamic and have a lot of detail. You might be looking back at NWN with rose tinted glasses. I still play NWN and while it's still one of the best games of all time, it does look it's age.

Cool let us know.  Hopefully a more positive experience than Elessar's.

It also has a module creator. So you + a group of 4 (you being the DM) can run the module. It seems pretty interesting. Character creation is a little weird, the look isn't stellar. But once in the game, the game looks great. It reminds me of Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale. Play style wise, more similar to Icewind Dale.

Oh, hah, sorry, I probably should have updated everyone after I tried it on the free weekend. I got about five minutes in before giving up on it. Character creation was a mess. Couldn't figure out what bonuses anything gave. Then actually playing it was rough. Looked and felt horrible. Glad I didn't buy it.

It's alright.

I thought the character creation went smoothly for me. Game seems interesting, but I will need to get used to the play style. I didn't play too much since I had dinner pretty soon after checking it out. I'm going to put in some time this weekend and check it out. Also want to check out the DM stuff. It looks like it could be interesting with some work.

Microsoft is going on the same bandwagon as Apple. Since you can now get any new version of OS X for free. Microsoft is doing it too so that they stay in competition. Windows 10 is going to be great from all the things I have heard. I for one, can't wait until the 29th for my free copy. :D

I played Hearthstone for awhile but lost interest. I'll try and get back into it.

As for StarCraft, I made it about half way through the expansion, but I suck at playing Zerg, so I couldn't play through on "normal" difficulty. Now that the Protoss expansion has been announced I think I'll play through the whole campaign on easy just to get caught up on the storyline in preparation for the new expansion.

I just recently played through the original campaign and the expansion to ramp up for the expansion. I've played the beta for the Protoss a little bit. But I mainly play the multiplayer. Hearthstone is fun, because you can just pick it up and play.
