Let's not get into a "who was the first person to insult who" argument.
I think you mean "the first person to insult whom"  - you cheese-eating surrender-monkey!

Not to jump into a viper's nest with both feet, but I gotta say that Talon remarking on other folks' incivility is either hilarious self-parody or remarkable hypocrisy. I mean, dude, you photoshopped Miss Piggy onto Hell's girlfriend's face! Regardless of her looking like Hell or having the MySpace Angles (neither of which were particularly "uncivil" comments), that's just harsh, and was bound to piss Hell off. While I'd always agree that Hell is vitriolic, I have to award some of the credit to Talon for being uncivil, and for inspiring some incivility.

On the other hand (and not to be disrespectful to this girl I've never met), Talon's got the 1337 photoshop skillz.

Pleasant co-workers and bosses are pretty much the most important thing about a job.

Oh, and by the way Meclar: my company stocks those boxes of Fritos in the break room. I think I found your wallet in the box we polished off today.

In midseason, the CW will bring on a reality show, "Farmer Wants a Wife," about a country guy choosing among 10 women fed up with big-city prospects.
Wow, it's like The Bachelor meets Amish in the City. I wonder what he gives the woman he rejects each week - maybe a right purdy thistle....

My card says "Senior Technical Writer" but the org chart says "Documentation Lead" and actually, if you look at my assigned responsibilities, I'm also in management.

That's why they call me Doc Chick.

Thanks to Revisionist Republican Rhetoric, the quote is now "I'm a commander guy" (despite what the official White House stenographer actually transcribed).

Bah! If only Apple Corp (music co.) and Apple Inc. (computer co.) would play nice. They've been bickering for 20 years about whether the general public is too stupid to distinguish between them, making it really hard to get Beatles music on the internet.

Dear Prudence is on the White Album.

I have to agree with Tyreal here: that image doesn't impress me much. The game just a looks like a rip off of several other games' UIs. And though graphics don't make the game.... it kinda looks lame.

If you dont envisage using it for hours a day for outbound calls and dont need the shiniest new mobile (you have managed to survive thus far) then I think its definitely the way to go.
Great minds think alike!

I definitely want a prepay/pay-as-you-go plan, which is one reason I'm leaning towards Cingular. The other providers I looked at have over-complicated prepay schemes or none at all. Verizon had a pretty decent plan, but then they want me to drop $100 on a phone... not gonna happen.

The comma splice is a perfectly cromulent English construction. As is the split infinitive. The incomplete sentence, however, is just bad medicine.

So as 420 and I sat on the side of the freeway and waited for the nice AAA dude to tow the broken down car to the airport so we could rent a car to go home on Easter, it suddenly dawned on me: at this point, I'm only torturing myself by not getting a cell phone. I mean, sure, we were 500 feet from a call box, but that won't always be the case, and who knows how long we could sit there waiting for a Good Samaritan?

Okay, that's long winded intro , but I want to make it clear: I'm getting this bloody electronic leash against my better judgment.

So, on to the flame war....

Tell me, gentlefolk: which wireless company is the least reprehensible and has the best voice quality and coverage/signal strength?

Thanks,

Throbblefoot
