Feedback & Community / Is there a fake God Spires up atm?

I keep seeing one server name "pvp legit" mod name "god spires" but the server description reads Serpents PvP so my guess is that it isn't the real godspires?
Also, it needs xp1 and x2 so i cant go in and check it out.

ok here is my short wish list

- totally random, open ended oc - like GTA except that even if ur a hopeless dweeb on the keyboard u can still puruse a nice career. totally random quests, maps and storyline too of course. (in GTA im such a hopeless dweeb i cant get past mission 3...)
- some combat should be executed with special keyboard combo presses. not all, cos it will probably lag. DnD online beta already has this.
- must retain total customisability with toolset and be open source like nwn 1.

ps - off topic - btw, is it ok to start a lucid magic torrent site? cos then i could host torrents for all the nwn isoz and dnd pdf manuals... can't hos tin UK tho have to get server in nice IP friendly country - like um.... slovenia i think. (i might start a new thread for htis one). plus also all te rpg isoz like ragnarok and lineage 2 etc..

EDIT: oooo check out bus's rpely to my post, he has this HUGE blank space in it.. wonder why..... hmm.....

NwN General / Thanks Talon thread

I thought maybe I would liek to say thanks to Talon for hosting GS all these years/months. Somehow its grand to come back to nwn and still see GS going strong. I think it takes a lot of his own time and effort from his own business for him to host such a finely scripted mod, and also for being such a keen dueller, and strict dm - cos that helps with gs's character too. And also for being open minded about sents.

I know Talon is a dictator sometimes, but I think he has to be cos gs is a drain on his time and money even though he must enjoy it too.

In this thread, I would also like to thank all the other great builders in nwn. I can't know all their names, so here's some :-

Fobe
Jay
Slaughterhouse's team (i dont know where they are now :/ but they were a bit like Talon)
Gamesoldier's 2drunk (and his gf, dont know where they r now)
Lilac Soul (never met her/him personally but those scripts r marvellous)

NwN General / Port from NWN to other games

ok.. say the players at gs all like ot play TA or postal or GTA online...

can we script a port sop that if u go through it, nwn minimises and we all go to join the other game?

wouldnt it be cool? it would be sor tof fun cos if we get bored of team pvp in the new gs, we can walk into the TA or CNC RA portal whenever we like....

now that's a scripting nightmare!!!

EDIT: Thanks to all who replied to my post! yup as at 420's post at 420pm we all concluded it's a pipe dream ... (at the moment) - hmm i wonder if linux could do it.. hmmm

NwN General / Blade Barrier and Improved Evasion on item

Im not sur eit matters so much for GS because GS doesnt allow feat properties on items anyway.
However, if u use Imp Ev on an item and run thru a clerics blade abarrier u will be hurt even if u make the save.
This means Imp Ev isnt working I guess.

Monks escape with no damage though I think.

Anyone have any thought son this?

NwN General / Dual Monitors and NWN

ok i have a radoen 9200se and w2k
i have mine in extended/horizontal span mode
so that i can have Mozilla on the rhs crt and nwn in windowed mode on the lhs atm.

its nice, cos i can browse the web wihile playing nwn and i imagine it is great for server admin cos nwserve.exe can be on a separate screen.

BUT.. i think i shant use dual monitor for nwn :/ because i cannot use the mouse to make the screen rotate.. This is badd for pvp.

Maybe, if i had a true dual head card with true separat eindependent monitors then yes i wioll keep it. But atm, its justa horizontal span.

Do you guys have any good setups?
Which video card has true dual monitor (ie: 2 totalle separate indep crts) support?
