btw can players build their own items and item look in daoc?...
and what's the equivalent of an AA...?

im into anime.

ok it is hard to define just what is a true rts so some people may want to include Medieval Total War (or Rome or Shogun) or even other games like Sacrifice or Black and White. Well i think rts in strict terms is sc or ta.

TA imho is the No.1 rts of all time cos no other rts creates as much simultaneous screaan shaking explosiong and battle. Also TA has the most units in battle at any one time (perhaps cossacks has more but cossakcs doesnt have aircraft). TA is also the only rts with proper aircraft flight in strafing/bombing runs (sc aircraft are lame). TA AI is also the hardest of all rtses (custom content ai is truly awesome). TA strategy is very specialised and takes a lot of thinking.

I'm not sure why so many people like sc but i think its just because blizzard markets it a lto and also sc has very good strategy for an rts.

However, I wud have to point out that wb3, battle realms and tzar have increidble strategy capabilities too if people played them more. battle realms is really really good - it is the only rts with vaguely anime feel except maybe for wc3 but wc3 is kinda lame because the graphics are a bit old and its a rehash of wc2. However, I did hear wc3 had really good strategic balances and fun too.

1 rts i have not played is warhammer 40k and i heard this may be better than ta.

Yup, just not the run of the mill man meets woman type love stories.
What do you guys think of them? I kind of like them. They're interesting, the girls are interesting to me and um it's very, nice!

So what kind of love stories do you like, if any. Why do you like them and if you dislike love stories generally.. why?

maybe some guys think it should be all realistic. you ask girl out, if she says no thats it, goto line 30 END statement etc etc. While do loop etc.

There were two elementals who were good friends. Spiffy, a fire elemental and Floop, an ice elemental. Now they weren't meant to be friends but when they were very young, Floop saved Spiffy's life by puliling him out of an ice cavern! So they were secret friends.

Tale of Black

Somewhere during the ages of nwn there was a really nasty evil looking character named "Black" who was a female um... sd, pally i think... She spent her time in a local vault lotr server which allowed players to "hunt" down other players...

It was really funny because she had a creepy voice and black armour an dhorned helmet. And newbie players would come into lotr all fresh and bright eyed and suddenly get stalked or jumpe don by this screeching hellion with a scythe (she built weapons especially to maximise crits and scare newbies)...

so there poor newbies would insist on partying up and exploring lotr. Sometimes they would set off cheerfully, because they had not encountered Black yet, but later they would set off with great trepidation...

and sooner or later, Black would select her victim and pounce on them when they were relaxing somewhere and, slaying all the others, begin pursuing her "selected: victim alll o ver the server..

Needless to say, the newbie would howl for a dm, but, the imposing silence of lotr was his only answer.. and the sudden flash of Black's 200 hp crit scythe!!!!!!

so.. do you guys have any neat tales from ur experiences of nwn?

um.. this poll is just about whether being a solid couple is something which we all still want. It isn't about marriage as an institution per se.

So it is really asking - do you ever want to be or hope to be in a 1+1 relationship forever, or at least for a substantial time, say 10 years plus?
