Very nice. Worthy of a big, free standing, sinage to promote the game I'd say.

Guild brothers Celoras and Cuchulann meet up in the post searing. Is there a family resembilance?
[attachmentid=216]
And a gratuitious cape shot since thats what helped me pick Celoras out from all the rest in town. They were expensive but are proving their worth already. Thanks Throbblefoot and 420!

ThrobbleServ / THE RULE OF THREE
« on: April 19, 2005, 02:54:15 AM »
Goodness the last relpy on this topic was last year!! Did everyone finally suss it out or give up? Heh then of course there was the time that LM was OOC. Strangely coincedental. Well I do know now what variables will prevent the rule of threes from hapening. Pretty sure on it too. But then what of the rule of fours? NARF!

ThrobbleServ / THE RULE OF THREE
« on: September 23, 2004, 01:23:20 AM »
Ok I was on for a few hours tonight while the rule of three was in effect. I took a look around and noticed the following:
1. While the rule of three was in effect there were only 2 groups of merchants in the bazzar, mindflayers and elves. Both of these groups were groups of three. and there were a total of three people logged onto the server, Throbblefoot (as DM), 420, and myself.
This makes 3 groups of three from what are random instances. Ie #of players on the server, and #of random merchants in the bazzar.
2. when the rule of three ended, the type of merchants in the bazzar had changed. Now there were The elves, and human merchants. The humans were a group of 2.
3. Throughout the course of the night the rule of threes did not occur again while i was on the server, and I did not note that Mindflayers and elves were in the bazar at the same time again. Other combinations did occur but the event did not trigger.
4. I also made note of he other merchant groups that came and went wihle the rule was not active   Red Wizards and Humans- groups of 2, Halflings- group of 4, and goblins- group of 5.

I am almost completly certain now that the mindflayer and elf merchants must be present for the event to trigger. But there may be another group of merchants that show up in threes that I did not record and may also be connected. So I'm pretty sure I have figured out how it works but I'll have to see it in action again before I know for certain.

NwN General / NWN2???
« on: September 22, 2004, 05:21:37 PM »
I heard about the first NWN a good two years before it came out. Now i have to sweat out another 2 (or more likey more) for the sequel. Anyone got a notion as to what kind of system you'll need to run it? I have a feeling we will all need new machines to play it.

NwN General / 1.64 patch will add Trogs!
« on: September 22, 2004, 05:15:21 PM »

Both the trogs and bulette are to be "released in a future update" but it doesn't say if it will be in the same update. If it is, 1.64 is gonna be a huge patch!

Arrrgh!! We hates them!! Big patches??? They have now respect for us poor shmoes who can't afford high speed internet!!
