nice job on the info mel, a lot of positive things. I like the one about modules being converted to 1.65 when opened in the 1.65 toolset. can make updating a lot easier, but could be annoying if that's not what you wanted.

I use a OC install toolset whit 1.62 as version most of the time. Works fine.

:( so far ive been enjoying some of the stuff the fixed such as the crashed thingy they fixed and the attack of op thing (both of witch ive been haveing problems with) please dont tell me im gonna have to downgrade to play avris and godspire

There's always a time between the release of the linux and the windows patch. It would seem logical they first give the server the patch and tell the date they need to upgrade or something. Atm you have to wait till the server you play most on did upgrade.
Arivs will upgrade. Gs will too normally.

i think v1.65 patch of linux patch is out

Yep, I'm going to look at it.

I tried downgrading back to 1.64. GS is listed but i get that black screen whenever I try to log. Avris works fine, except when I use characters I made using 1.65. Anyways, as I said above, the upgrade for linux is available on the patch page at Bioware's site now. Hopefully when everyone has the same client all these log in problems will go away.

I not really know what the problem is on gs. I used to have a slowdown joining gs when I ran nwn from a linuxbox. Waiting a bit may help but it's not normal it happens. Arivs, like said, doesn't has the problem.
I think the provider gs use has something to do whit the downtimes and problems. But this is just a idea, might be something else.

Arivs runs 1.65 now , I'm going to check how much they did blow up whit this patch :P
