He is a damn plumber that has to somhow maracilously summon pipes from the ground to evade any real threat, Them he simply jumps on there head and we call him a legend, Any enemy that you can step on would probly be as scary as a house hold cockroach. Sonic has blades on his back and he can run at sonic speed. I think sonic without a doubt, Yes he's anyoing, but he still would whoop marios ass when he decides to jump on sonics head.. (Lets jump on a Wood splitter disc as its spinning at the speed of sound..)

Hmm, But I think we should use the whole crew rather than just the one character, Still sonic would win with Knuckles beating the shyte outa that lil mushroom, Tails in some contraption without plubing for mario to exploit with a built in plunger to hall his ass out when he decides to run like a lil bitch, Shadow with his Chaos Control to follow Mario when and if he escapes... What else..

I could add more if you like ;)
