Title: Building With Cep Issue

Whenever I enable CEP, it makes 1/2 the item's base item name a conversation thing such as a greatsword's base item "Me thinks you give waterdhavian creature to captain"

Is there any simple way to resolve such an issue?

lol i cant think why that would be. Honestly I'd Rather live without CEP anyways. Just turn it off.

Yeah.  You're not helping.

CEP is like a hak, it is enabled and disabled on specific mods.

This issue happens only with a CEP mod.   If I felt like "just turning it off" I wouldn't be making a damned CEP mod.

You need to use the dialog table that comes with CEP.
It part of one of the haks. cepdialog.hak or something, I would guess - i dont have CEP to hand so I cant give you the exact name.

Thank you Talon,  I thought I had all the haks enabled, guess I didn't.  I'll go try that now.

Remember that they gave you the "CEP Starter Module.mod" file. This is a new mod with 1 area and all the CEP haks installed.

The CEP people recommend that when you want to make a new CEP mod just open the CEP Starter Module and "save as" a new name and use that mod to build. That way you are sure to have all teh right haks.

Ok, this is the file you need to add.  (I missed this the first time).

When you're adding the CEP Hak's to your module, you add the haks in the little hak window.  UNDERNEATH that there is the custom tlk table.  You need to add the file cep.tlk in that window... I think that's the file name.  It's something .tlk.  This file is what tells the toolset how to categorize the CEP items/scripts on the palette.

This is the #1 btk* error encountered with CEP.
