personally i agree with throbblefoot; lately ive shown a certain member of doriath*cough cough*anheg*cough cough* because of his disrespect towards me. I know it might not have been his intentions but... it is rather annoying when people pelt you with questions about your clan affiliation*goes slightly pink*
now i'll let you in on a few secrets.
the "G" word is bad because it is offensive and if you call someone the "G" word they can be seriously hurt by it. how do i know that? well for one reason at my school i have been called the "G" word before and its not true. :glare: :angry2:
the "B" word is offensive to people especially (to my knolledge anyway) females. i believe that it is a form of sexism, but i'd ask that those of you who like calling their female dogs this word, even though it is the scientific term for female dogs, to refrain from it. Trust me i know cal and taarna give only 1 chance at it(they might give only 1 to someone that they know knows that they have banned cuz of it) and probably throbble too.

my lord anghed i life in BRazil so my time zone is in Argentina\Brazil and i only play on Friday sarurday and monday only cuz i work in the firm on programs with scripts during the week. And my lady Blood Angel , Hubba warned to me than i cant join the clan cuz i only want be in "some clan" in like 1 mounth before , and since then im waiting to be testing and no one test me , so im getting bored cuz letting ppls waiting is a signal than no one care about the guy and no one want to test him , is whan i think ,and i sitll remeber hubba telling me about honor and fight for doriath. but the problem is than i not care anymore of this cuz im waiting too long!!! I wanted to be in doriath went i really wanted , but with the time , one more week passes and no one tests me , then i changed my mind to "any clan" . Well a servant is the lowest rank there is, which is a rank ppl would only have for a period of time to show that they are in it for the long run, a rank where we are be able to dump those who might have been active for a while and then just stopped playing. For instance Tyr, Leon :( and zoo (I don't c any of them online at all, but it's just an example)
A recruit is one that does not wear a doriath tag, it's not allowed. In this persons bio he'll add that he's our recruit. A recruit is on a 2 weeks trial for joining doriath.
Also the meeting has been rescheduled. I don't know if 3pm gtm is 10am your time anheg, but to make sure that it's more of a possibilty for you to come I'll move the time back by one hour. This means that the meeting is at 2pm gtm on sunday. (also saw khad online before the meeting, but he was tired and needed sleep, so maybe this time will give him a chance too)

Ya, recruitment is being slowede down. Unless you see someone really special, most likely the answer will be no. I was thinking about having more ranks, but I think it would be pointless. We tryed the whole 'ranks and responsibilites' thing, and it definately didnt work. I think the less the better.

I agree with the list, and i also like the idea about the statues. But i dont agree the suggestion i've read about classifying people as inactive just because they dont log in GodSpire.
I think we all realise that people r playing other games (mostly now with the arrive of GW) and this is a transition time until NWN 2 is released. So lets keep close to the clan but be realistic with the current situation.

I agree with Rons statement. Everyone has things other than NWN they would probibly perfer doing. Yet, showing up everyonce in a while (either on LM or GodSpire) shows some commitment.
I can only hope all of our friends return to us upon the release of Neverwinter Nights 2.
Another thought I had was to return to the old three rank system because of our big decline. Only a few people can be expected to 'live up' to their rank, so why not make it simple to fit these simple times.

We're the more active clan in GodSpire . When will nwn 2 be released ? Because hmm in err ... 3-4 month if things go normal , I'll study to become a doctor like guy ( the correct name is osteopathie in french though I dunno the word in english ) . Hence I'll be busy with studying and might not be able to play a lot ( I might not even have a internet connection anymore since I am moving in an other town where the medecine school is located - bordeau if you know - though I'll play when I can if I can afford it ) .

It is how Doriath was before Adisku, JeK, Jas, Gin, and I brought Doriah back to life. It is the simiplest way to do things (it is like the marauders). I will compare them.
Doriath: King - Marauders: Luminary
Doriath: High Elves - Marauders: Circle of Elders
Doriath: Members - Marauders: Members
(the comparison is just so you can look at theirs and see what it would be like). This is how it was for a long, long time. This way, the ranks do not seem overwhelming to those that are not active on GodSpire. I would like a general agreement or disagreement on the idea.
