Title: BioWare NWN Forums Closing

As of Monday July 19, 2010 BioWare's NWN forums (http://nwn.bioware.com/forums/) will become read-only. The web site and forums will still be accessible but you will no longer be able to post.

Instead BioWare has created a new NWN forum (http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/subindex/153) on their social network. I've already created my account there (it doesn't use the GameSpy account).

If you ask me Gamespy was the cause of NWN demise.  I remember all of a sudden Gamespy stopped listing a whole whack load of servers.  Had something to do with their crazy NAT rules that you needed to follow, but even so it wouldn't work anymore.  GS was included.  Not being listed anymore, traffic to the server suffered greatly.

Gotta say though that the whole "Social Bioware" crap is annoying.
