The one that started it all (if you don't count Adventure of course): The Making Of: Rogue (http://www.edge-online.com/magazine/the-making-of-rogue)
I remember playing this for hours in the middle of the night while my mom fed punch cards into a machine the size of a studio apartment.

Before my time. On the first computer my parents gave me and my sister to play on I remember the game with the cannons on the ground that shot up into the air at planes and a text based dungeon game. At school we had the Oregon Trail on floppies.
The first game I was really into was Monkey Island.
