Title: internet radio question...
Post by: Sonicle on May 18, 2008, 05:12:53 PM: me and a friend were planning to host an internet radio show for a DIY label called numavi records

but the problem is that we dont have an idea how to do so ... (found free i-radio stuff but with ads and a lot of rules to fit in and i have a server anyway)

so i was curious if anybody knew how to host one

Of the people here, you could try asking Mo, Mel, or Talon. The last two are just a little harder to get ahold of. =D

I might have another idea though, but I can't guarantee anybody will bother to answer your question. You could try going to darkness.com. It's an online discussion board like this one is and uses IPB like this one used to. You'll just have to register and find the appropriate forum to ask your question, and perhaps you'll get some feedback. I mention this, because they've had their own radio deal going on for a couple years now already. I remember when they first put it up and I know alot of members would volunteer to DJ and talk on the radio and whatnot between songs. So you could try it if you're desperate. I can't help you much more than that since I haven't been active there in... forever.
