Total shot in the dark here, but if there is a delay between the US release the Europen release (or for other locales), I'd bet it's due to translation. When they make the final build of the English version, they'll have their translators look over the final text changes and update the French, Spanish, German or what have you (anyone know what languages NWN2 is planning to support?).
Admittedly, one might wonder why the UK version would be delayed as well. I suspect:
- Colour, neighbour, realize, in hospital, and etc.
- EU law or agreements with Atari's EU distributors.

Nonsense! It uses the same script system as NWN1 to make it easier for builders, so he just has to import all the scripts from GS1 with a few minor tweaks then create the areas and items to go with the scripts. Sure, there will probably some balance tweaking in place, but we expect that already. Trust me, it probably won't take long to import the scripts and create the items and areas and hopefully not Belog.

Read "some" as "alot" it's going to be a lot like those first days of GodSpire where everything needed to be tested to see how the Aurora engine handled various D&D rules.
I suspect the first couple months is going to be a lot of play-balancing considering we are dealing with new base classes and a max level of 20 with the potential of multiclassing 4 different classes.
Luckily the level 20 limit will probably mean there won't need to be any AB/AC limits since we won't have access to epic enhancements (just the good old balanced +1 - +5).

Only Talon knows the answers to those questions. Last I spoke with him, 2-3 months ago, he did mention that he would be building GS for NWN2. However it remains to be seen whether his initial impressions of NWN2 will be good enough for him to actually do it. If he doesn't like the actual game or toolset then I'm not sure if he'll do it or not. I'll watch out for him and make a point to ask him about it. Though I suspect he checks these forums more often than I see him online, so Talon whats up?? Nooo pressure dude! :P
I'll have my mod up as soon as I can figure out how to get Lamespy to show it, lol...it has the level 20 filter from nwn1 and a leveler, but that's about it, heh

i still have to check how it ECL works, but for now its a basic leveler, although when I was leveling earlier it didn't seem able to lower my levels for some reason, i'll have to check it out

EDIT: ECL works how its supposed to, at level 19 a tiefling has as much xp as a human would at level 20. I suppose for now I'll leave it at that, and we can see if there's much difference when they would hit level 20. I suspect between a Teifling and a Human for instance wouldn't make much of a difference, but it could make a huge difference between say a svirf and a human..we'll see

420, if you wanna mess around with it and send me your creations that might help a bit, or if anyone else has created any content for GS, whatever. I pretty much have all the areas made but there not pollished. There basicly a mesh without a texture if you will.

Not sure what's needed other than a dual manager. Since the .pwc only needs to be updated when you change the walkmesh, if all the areas are done you may as well put it up and add polish as time goes on (that's what I'm doing with my server at least).
