Title: ALL ABOUT INFUSION!
Post by: 420 on July 12, 2005, 01:18:02 PM
SPOILER ALERT![/span]

Here is a quick guide I put together explaining how and why you need to get infused!

How to get Infused

After you Ascend and pass the Dragon's Lair you will end up in the Southern Shiverpeaks (map (http://www.promisance.biz/guildwars/GWMapMiniShivS.jpg)) at Droknar's Forge.

1. Make your way to the Iron Mines of Moladune and enter the mission. Follow this path to the Seer:

2. After speaking with the Seer go a short distance to the east to kill the "Eidolen" here:
[attachmentid=464]

3. After killing the Eidolen take it's remains back to the Seer to get all of your armor "Infused". You will see the word "Infused" in white listed with your armors properties when you examine it:

EDIT: Each player must speak with the Seer individually after the remains are given in order to get infused.

[span style=\'color:red\']NOTE: Make sure you unequip any Infused pieces of armor when you want to infuse a new piece![/b]

Why to get Infused
The Mursaat and their Jade Armor warriors have a unique ability called Spectral Agony that will pretty much kill you instantly unless you are wearing Infused armor.

After Infusion

Do we need to get more than one item infused to get it down that low?

Yes and it used to only infuse one armor piece at a time but that changed in an update so now all the non-infused armor you have equiped gets infused. However, last I heard the quest won't work if you have any infused armor equiped. This may be fixed now but I'm not taking any chances by testing it.

Nope, any skill with that icon (monster face) is considered a "Monster Ability", meaning it's a skill based of some physical characteristic of the creature. Like Giant Stomp, you can't capture that skill because you aren't a huge giant.
