Title: Almost invincible hack build seen... How?
Post by: gashmo on February 14, 2005, 01:20:07 AM
ok the other day i was a dm and saw this level 14 guy (about 7 rogue, 7 cleric or so),
on an ELC and ILR enabled local vault server
nothing special equipped, basic low level 14 stuff
no badstreff on items visible
no unusual stats on char sheet.
regen was about max 14 per round

He was hit repeatedly by stronger monsters and taken down to 1 hp (near death).
Kept getting hit for 40-50 per hit and his hp refused to go below 1 !!

I swapped the monsters weapon out to a level 61 item doing 2-300 hp per hit.
He refused to die stayed at 1 hp even though he was hit for 200-300 damage per round.

He was only killed when i replaced the item with a weapon with multipl eon hit slay/doom dc properties maxed to level 61.

Ok, anyone know what leto edit produces this result?

He wasn't set dm plot because he was being damaged. Could it be badstreff regen monsterability?
Anyone care to discuss?

If you use leto to get immortality your hp will not go below 1. You should have opened the DM chooser and seen if he was immortal.

Why would you want to kill Immortal?

one of the on hit slay properties kills it i think..

made a level 61 weapon with all the on hit slay level drain etc on it.. and after a few hits the immortal died...

Well, normally that shouldn't happen. But it won't be the first time nwn does something strange :P

If you want to kill them while immortal, make a small script that resets the immortal tag, kills, and sets the immortal tag again. Maybe a useable dm tool or with the script on it.

Immortals don't die, for once they are dead they are not Immortal.
