I really want to figure out the Rule of Threes.  I want the secret all to myself so I can feel special but I realize that I'm goin to need help on this.  So, I'm going to form an elite group of players and together we will figure out the rule.  Who wants in?

All I know was I was on the server just a bit ago and the dang thing was activated. If I remember correct I had just entered Smith Hold and was on my way over to the Arena when it was activated and both BzK and Zaron were in the Arena. I was not in the Arena when it was activated nor did I do anything to activate it cept maybe step on a trigger perhaps. Ask BzK or Zaron what they both were doing when it was activated. Also I have another theory to put in. I think it is a completely random setting that 420 or Throbble put in there to make you go on a wild goose chase trying to find out what it is. Now something might trigger it but it might be beyond our ability to trigger it physically and he is silently laughing at us all right now...

so something happens randomly and you start worrying about it... you guys should go figure out other quest and I tell you that in the long run you'll get the quest rules of the threes with info on it, cuz solving something that there and yet not, doesn't seem like it's time well spent.

but then again if there is a solution to it made by throbby/420 that can be found, then hurray to a good thinking quest! (nwn needs that)

Actually, someone already got really close to what causes the Rule of Threes on this forum but I didn't bring attention to it because it was a little too close.

Iceycool and Lance, and a couple others, have experienced the effects of the Rule of Threes. Ask them what they saw. (They still don't know what activates/deactivates it though)

I'm starting to wonder if it's something less to do with the game and more like  every 3rd person to log in or something like that.

i donno if 420 has brought this up but if you log in while the rule of 3 is in effect it will rumble for you and say blah blah three times ..........your not activating ............its just telling you its in effect ............i thought i was actavating it and was getting all excited cause i loged in and out like 5 times and each time i logged in it said it.............

I don't think it's been figured out yet but I'm going to be adding more stuff that the Rule of Threes will "unlock". This weekend be on the look out for subtle changes during the Rule of Threes. Who knows, you may get your hands on an item that no one has ever seen before!
