It has big shoes to fill. BG2 was the best CRPG ever made if you ask me.

Have you seen the game play footage? It doesn't look bad. I'm definitely interested in checking it out.

Nope it doesn't look bad.  Still doesn't change the fact that it has very big shoes to fill.  I will buy the game when it's released after waiting maybe a month or two for bugs to be sorted out.

It's been on my Steam wishlist since it was announced. Still no "planned release date". Not even a range like, "Sometime in the 2020s".

Never heard of the developer/publisher Larian Studios. I wonder if any of them were involved in the original titles.

Super necro, but I know at least Mo has been playing. I think it has lived up to expectations. Been having a total blast.

Oh man. I'm 80 hours in and not at Moonrise yet. So far it's 10/10 with potential to hit 11 if it opens up more when we get to Baldur's Gate. I'm loving the story also, Selune and Shar have always been my favorites and I actually started a new D&D campaign earlier this year playing a cleric of Selune who's mission it is to reconcile the twin goddess. So it's nice to see BG3 focus on that particular conflict (I've avoided every possible spoiler, please no spoilers!). I actually designed the Dream Visitor to be that character so I'll be using BG3 story on how she ends up to influence my D&D char.

Dude, I'm running three separate BG3 campaigns right now. Just alternating between characters lol. I got to act 3 on my first one and started a second, then realized I missed like 75% of act 1's areas!

I rarely play anything when it comes out for even a year or more after its release. I got tired of company's BS with releasing unfinished trash and buggy games and putting out 300 DLC's later that would end up being all on sale in one super bundle for much cheaper.

I plan on getting this soon though. I make very very rare exceptions, but they do happen occasionally.

I hear that! I'm looking at YOU Paradox Interactive! BG3 is in a very good state if you ask me but ya there will definitely be coming out with lots of content for it because the game is a huge hit. Cyberpunk finally got itself into a very good state if you ask me. I had tons of fun and the expansion is very good.

Just got BG 3 for Christmas from my wife, so I'll be playing that sometime soon most likely. I'm currently addicted to Oxygen Not Included though so I'm still playing that at the moment. When I got it, I thought it was going to be a game that my kids would really like that I'd also enjoy to a lesser extent, but it turns out that it's actually a game /I/ really like that I'm not sure my kids can get very far in it without struggling immensely. Haha. My son is also really into Little Nightmares, so we've been playing those a lot when he's here too.
