Seven hour rollback isn't bad.
I was at work Sunday morning so I won't lose an progress, but Throbble had made a bunch of progress Sunday morning. Lame.

Eh, it was kind of necessary...I figured it would be more than 7hrs though.

Really wish the Gateway programmers had put in an error check for:

-negative numbers
-fractions

Those two checks, the fractions just for added stability, would have prevented this entire mess. :\

They said this in the official statement:
Quote
As a token of our appreciation for you, the community, and all that you've done for the game throughout these days of Beta, we will be sending a thank-you gift to players and opening ourselves up on the forums and various other channels to answer any and all questions we can.

But nothing so far.

I rather like how people are crying for a wipe.....

...but if the game was 'Officially Live' and they wiped these same people would be "flipping tables".

Got mine this morning, Throbble is getting hers right now. Not sure what some of it is, like the xp thing. 4K xp + 25%? What the fuck does that mean?

Believe that means that for 4,000 points you'll earn 25% more. Not that it's really needed in this game.

So far so good.  I'm a level 9 control wiz.

Graphics are good, though I find it lags a lot when there are many players around, typically happens in the city.  I think it's a memory issue.  I only have 4GB of RAM and I notice the HDD is swapping a lot, so that's the cause.  Maybe they could optimize memory usage better.

The game is fun, quests are interesting and you feel like you're having an actual impact on the story and environment.  Unlike GW2 for example, quests do not involve having snowball fights, gathering beer kegs.  Also you can progress from quest to quest without worrying about leveling up.  Whereas in GW2 they forced you to take breaks from the main quest in order to level up.  That wouldn't have been so annoying had the side quests been somewhat interesting.  But they weren't and that made GW2 super boring.  No such problem with NW so far.  It's fast paced.  There seem to be a lot of skills and different ways to progress, but I really haven't gotten too far into that.

Also, Mo made a special channel for us called "Cochy" so we can chat more easily while in game. The private message system just wasn't very effective, especially if you were in the middle of lots of combat.

Yeah, Throbble and I used our smart phones to update our professions using the web interface while we spent a week in L.A. and Las Vegas. My PC actually leveled from the XP that I got while I was out of town.

Meh, I just figured out what Invoking was yesterday. Still not sure what the point is, but I guess some cool stuff can be bought for Astral Coins.

You will want the Celestial Coins (you get 2 coin types) for the wards.

If you ever hope on getting the epic Enchants....they have about a 1% chance to succeed :P
Preservation Wards keep the enchants from being destroyed
Coalescent Wards guarantee a successful fusing

The other coin type (Astral I believe) should be saved for the 360 coin Angel. So far the only Epic 'Healer' Companion.
-But that's just me :P

I would venture to say the enchantment slot adds to the overall weapon um...rating, or what ever the "+#" represented in the D&D rulebook....I'll have to keep an eye out to see if +2's have slots or not...

How often (and what time?)  is everyone playing? I've been starting to play every now and then. But haven't had a ton of time lately to play. But would definitely like to get on and play with everyone. :)

Normally I would get on around this time.  Evening between 5-9pm EST.  Right now I'm trying Warframe, a free to play 3rd person shooter on Steam.
