Patch 1.0.8 Now Live! (kinda)
« on: May 07, 2013, 12:01:27 PM »
You can download patch 1.0.8 right now but the servers are still down for maintenance. You can view the patch notes in the Diablo 3 launcher. I'll post them here once they are up on the D3 web site.

Can't wait to try the increased monster density in Act 1, 2, and 4 with the new Magic Find cap.

Pre 1.0.8 the max magic find was 375% (300% from items and 75% from 5 NV) and Fortune shrines could not push you above this cap.

Now the new max magic find is 430% (300% from items, 75% from 5 NV, 25% from Fortune shrine, +30% for having 3 people in your party).

Here are some images of the improved multiplayer and crafting interfaces:

Minimap Combat Icons! (These icons also display above players banners in town.)

From left to right:

1. Normal combat engagement. (The light blue indicates the Party Leader/Party Guide.)

2. Elite combat engagement.

3. Treasure Goblin combat engagement.

Apparently the increased monster density is only for Inferno MP 1-10.

Quote from a Blizzard Community Manager:
Quote
You'll find increased monster density if you're in Inferno difficulty, and have Monster Power 1 - 10 enabled. If you're looking for an easy place to see the density changes I recommend checking out The Weeping Hollow in Act I or the Storm Halls (it's in Zoltun Kulle's Archives) in Act II. There are lots of other great spots to farm monsters, but those are some of the favorites from what I hear.

You can still play. Just no auction house and no in-game trading with gold (you can still trade items).

They are doing an audit of every AH transaction that occurred after 1.0.8 patch before they brought the AH down. They haven't decided what to do with the cheaters yet. Sounds tedious but I think they are doing the right thing.

Either ban them or more poetic, remove all their gold and gear.
