I felt motivated to reinstall NWN today. It's finished, but I had trouble updating - I think I've found the fix, which just finished. I'm about to test it out.

420 and Throbble still log onto Throbbleserve. I have been playing The Old Republic a lot, and Crimson: Steam Pirates on my iPad lol.

It's not really for me to decide. It would be a community vote. Also Talon would need to be involved as well.

When was the last time we heard from him?

Anyway, after spending some 200-400+ hours each on Brink, Deus Ex, Saints Row, and the Diablo 3 Beta. I'd be willing to take a break and let off some steam (no pun intended) by getting back some old-school NWN PvP!

BTW, Throbble and I are still working on the final PDK quest for Smith Hold. (We just got distracted for a bit by new games.)

I work graveyard. 23:00-7:00 So the times I used to be on in the middle of the night and early morning, I will now be at work, except for weekends of course. Although I will likely be working some Friday nights/Saturday mornings as well. I already have everything installed, it's just a matter of "sparing time." Although, if I am playing something on the 360, and not the computer, I could still be present, but that's assuming anyone else is around, which is unlikely.

I have it installed and im just waiting for others too. Look I am not trying to force the issue. But given that no one else seems to be willing I thought I would put myself forward as I would gladly host and get it all back and running!

I would host it as well. I've got a nice 15 mbps connection. I just don't have the mod. And I have trouble getting mods to appear in the server listing.

Well, as long as throbbleserv is up, we can use their arena. If I recall, it's almost identical to the old GS rules.

While the GodSpire rules are listed in Smith Hold's arena, I don't actually filter peoples items. So you are on the honor system as far as item rules go.

I remember posting an OnEnter script way back that filtered items based on GodSpire rules. Can't seem to find it though.

I was on last night, but only for a few minutes. It was late and I was tired. But I will be on again later tonight!

I have to make a new character though, all mine are gone.

I actually still have a copy of that script. It was a stand alone script that was executed from the on enter script.

GS is not a mod. It's a community.

Where we gather isn't really of importance, if the rules, abilities, scripts, etc. can be mimicked somewhere else, great. If not, oh well.

I do agree with Hell honestly. It's not as if we couldn't all associate on 420 and Throbble's, Throbbleserve. Or even work together and make a small new mod just for a GodSpire reunion.

If you still have GS certifiable char then the Smith Hold arena will do. You have to play honor system for the few things GS filtered. I would like to see God Spire again if only for a little while.

I think you missed the point; which was not that we don't do it because we're all here on this board, but that the location with which we do it, (original GS mod or otherwise) doesn't really matter.

I have fond memories of my days in the Antediluvian server, the Arivs server, Throbbleserve, and of course Godspire version 1, 2, 3, 4, and 869. When it was huge, before it was added to, after it was added to, etc. etc. Even Elessars little home away from home; but seriously, should we put up each and every one because of some fond memories and lingering attachment, or does it really even matter as long as what is left of the community is present? I think Throbbleserv will work just fine, or whatever. I'm more concerned with the when, because I'm not going to bother unless there's a time in mind, as I'm likely to be ALONE. lol.

It usually goes down around 12 am PST I believe. But it is usually right back up again around 12 EST. So it's not up atm, but it is up every day!
