Throbble and I take advantage of a graphics glitch to blow off a little steam.

New DLC, free for anyone who got the Season Pass (like me)!

Penthouse Pack

I was reading the post and recognized some of the women's names from pics I've, um, seen. Didn't even know they were from Penthouse.

Still playing Saints Row. Throbble and I have bought a few of the $2.99 DLCs. Mostly for new vehicles and some cool outfits.

Here is Shaggy in his regular clothes:

And here he is as Teen Wolf on a flying broom:

Apparently there is going to be a free weekend on Steam for Saints Row: The Third.

I say apparently because I only got one announcement about it from Steam before it went down for "scheduled maintenance" yesterday. (Maintenance scheduled for the same day Borderlands 2 was released for some jackass reason.)

The only other information I found was from a site called Neoseeker:
Quote
PC gamers who haven't yet experienced the magic and absurdity of Saints Row: The Third can this weekend free of charge: a free weekend for the sandbox action game is being held on Steam.

The news comes courtesy of an avid fan who discovered the text "Saints Row: The Third Free Weekend - Sep 2012 (Complimentary)" appears in your purchase history, but not in your Steam library. It stands to reason the game will start showing up in libraries starting tomorrrow or Thursday for pre-loading ahead of the weekend.

Anyone who didn't get this game should try it out this weekend. I'm up for some multiplayer Saints Row: The Third anytime!

Official Word on the Free Weekend!

It starts today, I'm "Jimmy James" on Steam if anyone wants to play co-op just send my an invite.

Quote
This weekend on Steam, we are putting the "free" in ultimate player freedom. Welcome to the Steam Free Saints Row: The Third weekend!

From Thursday, September 20 to Sunday, September 23, enjoy Saints Row: The Third on Steam for absolutely free. Cost to you: zero, zilch, nada. Why? Because we care. Sign in, download, and strap it on!

On September 24 after the free trial, you can choose to purchase the full game and continue wreaking havoc in Steelport. Just because the trial ends doesn't mean the carnage has to.

And if you haven't played a Saints Row game yet, here's the story: The Third Street Saints are at the height of their power, and they're yours to control. Bring the fight to Steelport, a sordid city of sin drowning in sex, drugs, and guns. This is your city. These are your rules.

I'll say steampunk. It looks a little like a guy I saw at Dickens Fair last year.

Big promo deal coming November 6th:

Saints Row: The Third - The Full Package
(Link to the THQ store.)

Includes the game with the 3 mission packs and all the DLC content for $49.99.

I'm currently playing my 5th time through with Throbble who is on her 3rd play through and we are both still laughing our asses off. Great game. Good times. Strap it on.
