I was wondering what was happening with the Muni earlier today. They were only running Castro street shuttles and turning the trains around there. Seems a pair of them bumped near the exit from the undergound. At the speed which those cars run around there It couldnt have possibly been worse than the Metro crash in DC eariler.

And the severe storm that came by last night had a sense of irony:

Gee.  Even New Hampshire has more exciting neighborhood than mine!  We had a pretty crazy electrical storm here a couple days ago.  I thought I was gonna be struck by lightning running to my car.

Saw this on my way home today. Two of the vintage streetcars on Market street making a sandwich out of an SUV. Looks like somone forgot the law of gross tonage.

That's what happens when you go up against one of our vintage street cars. Throbble and I were in a cab on Market a few years back when we passed a street car that had obliterated a minivan that tried to cut it off. Unfortunately the way the cabbie decided to pass was by driving into oncoming traffic.
