Planescape Trilogy: Purgatorio Released!
« on: March 13, 2009, 08:07:44 PM »
Rogue Dao posted an announcement on their forum that they have uploaded Planescape Trilogy: Purgatorio to NWVault. I'll post a link when it becomes available for download tonight or tomorrow.

EDIT: Oh and it requires MotB expansion.

Of course it does. Bastages. :(

I just opened up nwn 2 for the first time in ages today. Decided to play through the original campaign with a monk and going to make a Sacred Fist char. :D

So how many more years until Eschatologia and Inferno are released, now? As I recall this was supposed to be part one of three. :p

It's a damn conspiracy! In order to play a game that I am intersted in I have to buy one that I don't care about. I tell ya there ought to be a discount patch that lets you get the updates but not the campaign.

OK, so it looks like Rogue Dao jumped the gun a bit. What they have released they are calling a demo. It is the complete first part of the trilogy but it's only single player, the custom races haven't been added and there are going to be lots more updates before they declare it the final release.

To play you will need the following:
Purgatorio Single Player Demo
Purgatorio Music
Mask of the Betrayer ($19.99 on Amazon)

Hmmm.  If it's a complete mod I'm wondering if I should wait for the "final" version.  I'm not too interested in custom races and multiplayer.

Yeah, it would be a nice addition in time but it's probably better to go through single player with a familiar race/class first anyway.

Unless you're like me and have a hard time replaying shit unless you wait a good year or two to do it. Depends what it is a little bit though, shooters have easy replayability. I'm still blastin' shit full of holes the second time through.

I got a new 21.5 inch monitor. Woo! Nice replacement for my 11 year old HP Pavilion monitor. -Shut the fuck up, Mo. I don't care. =P
