Cool, thats pretty much what ive been playing around with. For example here's a few alpha shots of a newer build. Needs major polishing.
I'll give you three guesses what where looking at.

Man, this means I'll have to use the NWN2 disks for something other than a coaster.

No expansions required I assume?

With SoZ we could add an overland map so people can walk between places like Angband and the Forests of Doriath.  If they have high enough skills to find those places!

I would say "newage" I want oldschool, but I also think some updates are more than necessary to the layout.

No Mo's tower! That was too easy to rob!

Also, I recently updated my computer gradually to the point that it is practically a whole new computer now. (Got a new DVD Drive, HDD, PSU, CPU, RAM, Mobo, and V-Card. lol.) Though I'm not using my new HDD yet, I'm slowly transitioning. I got 40GB's on this one and 500GB's on that one and I need the damn space. I just have years of time on this one, so I got a lot of things to put on the other one, and tons of preferences and customization to do.

I shouldn't have any issues getting NWN 2 to work, if GS comes back for sure... it won't be long before I come as well. =D Although I was planning on buying NWN 2 eventually (seemed logical to wait, seems I was right to do so), this would likely get me to buy it sooner.

P.S. Screw Doriath! The Marauders better have a real goddamn base this time!

A little tiny bloody room with nothing but shiny objects and crappy chairs with a locked door you can easily run through!? I feel an anime moment coming on...

If GS2 requires both expansions it may take me awhile to get there since I'm waiting for SoZ to hit the $9.99 bin.

Do they have a Combo pack yet? I'll be waiting for that probably.

SoZ is worth it I believe. I know they have been pretty shit with updates our old buddies BioWare but I believe they are worthy of support.
I havent used any SoZ content as of yet but I am running the newer toolset so it will require SoZ to run.

SoU... SoZ hmmm

Looking sweet dude!

What are those tall tower things jetting out into the sky in the far distance there?  Looks like a gfx anomaly.

Hah, nah Giant tree's. They look far better ingame. The pollishing is coming along well.
I'm working on a few scripts to make Belog a little more aware of his surroundings.. But i'm pretty rusty. So far ive just made him randomly comment on his surroundings based on his location and he will keep within the main dueling area aswell. I'm working on making him run checks on Players he is close too, if they are in battle he will clear all actions so not to walk right threw the duel, he will also decide if he will simply walk a short distance away or go "Home".

Belog will on a rare ocasion approach you and ask how your doing, too which you can respond and he will reply. Still working on that..
Other than that i'm making far better progress then I had done last time.

EDIT:
I have done it! I have finaly fucking done it! I mastered the art of the "Walk Mesh"~! Even made a invisible spiral staircase into the air, pretty nifty. I might implement little secrets like that to obtain various Special items. Like a mage you can meet above the halls in his sky tower (He might look familiar) That will offer you a Sentinal rune he created if you locate him a Power Essence hidden some where in the halls. The rune will have pecial properties. Like becoming a n00b Sentinal with powers that only backfire... bwahahaha. Or the portable stool (Which ive already created of course)

That's cool, but are you sure you want Belog to avoid walking through duels?  Avoid him was pretty fun =)

Ok, bit more pollishing has been done. Added a Persistant Score Board aswell, I like the sound of that.
Found a very nice little addition on the vault aswell, increases Database efficiency aswell as shrinks the database files alot aswell. Very nice.
You will notice the area's have had a big make over, but they still need pollishing.

EDIT: Well, id hoped you might want to help me there again bud. Maybe resend the one you made a while back, revised possibly.

Looks good Xen.  Maybe we should set up a temporary server so people can have a look at the alpha version.  As far as I know the dedicated server for NWN2 only runs on Windows, that kinda sucks but I'm sure I can come up with something for it.
