Did the server have a rollback or something? cos i created this topic yesterday and now it dissappeared :0.
Well anyways heres some mass effect pics on my new XFX9800GTX

Yup it had a roll back. Lost Saturday. Very nice! That's a good video card enjoy!

One hell of a game, bioware made it, first came out for Xbox now on pc it's well a shooter RPG quite a awesome game, played it out two weeks ago.
Game quite rules, intresting storyline, nice graphics and is fun to play with, is a bit short tough and she sidequests are really EXTREMELY SHORT played it out in 22 hours or so with most of the sidequests done....but still game is worth it really just for the storyline.

Tyr lol i dunno your graphics aren't much different then mine on my laptop quite the same, you should run Crysis and then post some screenies that would be much better.
Ports from xbox to pc don't have such high demand requirements basicly because they don't alter the graphics engine...

The pics of Mass Effect were in window mode so the 8x antialiasing didnt apply i think, it looks better on full screen but yeah it isnt a big change.

So here are some pics from Crysis, its in 1280x1024 (cant make it higher anyways), 8x AA 8x aF and all options on high (theres still the very high option.... ill try it some other time :0)
I though Mass Effect had nice graphics but damn Crysis looks so good.

Well I just upgraded from a 7300 to an 8800, not as impressive of course but it has made tons of improvement for me. The difference I am posting here. on the 8800 I can run Hellgate in DX10 though with the shader fully maxed the background gets fuzzy, dunno it's weird. I checked out the stats of the 8800 and the 9600 which are almost identical with the 9600 having only about 50MhZ faster core clock speed. I could have bought a 9800 but it was $200 more than the site that nvidia directly links you to buy online, and even that was more than I really cared to pay. Still, I feel I got my money's worth. It came with the Company of Heros game too, which is at least a base retail value of $30. Has anyone played that game? Any good, or did I just get a coaster to go with the new card?

The fuzziness you are referring to is a DX10 effect. By looking at the top pic it looks like you could benefit by turning antialiasing on. What resolution are you playing on?

The top pic is his old card, I suspect that's the resolution he had to play at to get a decent FPS.

The bottom pic looks pretty amazing. The 8800 is a spicy meatball.

Well, while I was writing up my more in depth expirence about it, 420 posted a shorter reply and mine got denied from being posted. 420 has it right in a nutsell but im not going to re write it all again. How nice that the forum program told me that somone else posted before me but didn't put up what i wrote anyway.
