Installation Disc 2..
« on: May 05, 2008, 02:57:48 AM »
So i'm installing NWN again.. Might just leave it installed. I'm sick of missing GS and the like because I dont have the game installed or whatever.

Havent been around here alot either due to life stuff, moving and what have you. Moved further into the city (Sydney)
New place is pretty awsome, roof top balcony has seen alot of party use. I can spit on central station! well maybe not spit on it.. Its across the road.

Anyway, Whats new with everyone else?

EDIT: Installing my favorite expansion now.. Bah, I miss the SoU days..

Someone come online already..

Well thats fucked, Maybe i'll find the old SoU GS (The good one) and make some code fixes and see about resurrecting PVP like it was Pre HotU. Dex builds like those made by the Dex guru himself Rand, Str builds like my staypuff marshmellow man.. Or the ever feared monk builds. It was so much fun then.

With the new script functions implimented I have some pretty nice idea's also.

Don't uninstall NWN yet, i'll start farting around. Some graphic enhancements client side might be a nice thing for me to work on also.
You in at least?

I'm still online and ThrobbleServ has been running (during the days) every day.

Can't wait for a legit PvP server to come back.

My hosting abilities are pretty much non-existent. I just run ThrobbleServ minimized on my computer when I start it up in the morning.

Cloaks make NWN intolerable

That is fixed in the 1.69 Patch actualy with a nifty ini entry.

I'll probably just host the server myself when I get enough computer parts together.

There is also a "null" cloak appearance in 1.69. It's number 99 in the cloakmodel.2da

Dude, don't use vista.. Its a bloated version of XP. On top of that its a disposable OS. Windows 7 will be out next year.

Windows Vista = Trusted Computing.

Are you sure? Yes. Are you certain? I said yes. Are you confirming? YES GODDAMMIT! You cannot run this program. No; fuck you.
Nothing trustworthy about that.

Man, I badly need a computer upgrade, but I really don't see it happening right now. Money keeps getting tighter and tighter and costs of everything keep getting worse in addition to that. I dished out plenty of money on my Xbox which I still need to fix and use for awhile to make it have been worth it, and then I need a new chair and I'm not buying a shoddy piece of shit that will break in three days. So I expect to be dishing out a decent sum of cash for that soon, and then I'm also buying a new guitar, so there goes more money. Besides that, I also just got done spending a good amount of money on birthday presents for my fiance, as well as a camping trip, plus I've got some decent sized bills to pay here in the next week. And then, when it comes to my actual computer, a good storage HDD and a new video card are the simplest upgrades I want to do right now, and are the last on my priority list when it comes to spending money. Let alone the fact that I am eager to build a whole new system, but lack the currency to do so.

So, when it comes to upgrading my comp, or even meeting up on NWN or GS any time soon, it seems rather unlikely. I've got so much shit I need to do, and so much other shit I still want to do. - Can't believe it's fucking July... no damn time.

Goddamn this post was way longer than I wanted it. Why... no, HOW do I do that? I don't even realize it. lol.
