Server listens on port 80
« on: November 07, 2007, 11:01:06 PM »
Some of you noticed that the forums appeared down for a few hours today.  In fact the website wasn't down, it merely wasn't listening on port 8080 the way it has for the past few years.

For the past couple of month LM has been on the default www port of 80, as well as 8080.  For some reason the site on 8080 was down.  I did not notice because I no longer go to that site.

Please change your bookmarks for the site and remove the 8080 in the URL.

If for some reason you can not reach the site on the default port, then try 8080 again.

Thanks,

Mo

Way ahead of you, I figured out the problem shortly before leaving for class. Had to change my Bioware sig as well as my bookmarks.

Supremely ahead of you (because of you). Since I recall you saying something about the url and bookmarks or some such a long time ago... so I've had it changed since then... and I don't recall changing it in some time, so it must have been a long time ago. Though I don't think you said anything about ports then though. Bwahahaha!
