Got an interesting achievement just now, got a skill level to 10!

I was able to get it at level 17 by having 2 focus items, one with +3 the other with +2 to the skill.

Well with the recent ATI driver update I am able to play in DX10 mode.  With Vista and my HD2600PRO.  

The game actually looks a lot different.  There's also a new setting for under shader quality called "extreme" plus a setting for DX10 smoke effects.  

The game itself looks darker and objects in the distance look a little hazy.  There's also a distorting effect when you quickly turn your head.  All in all the game looks better.  Too bad my video card slows down to a crawl...just about slide show action.  Got save up for an 8800GT.

I'll attach a couple of screen shot.  Oddly the screen shots i took in DX9 mode came out looking like the DX10 ones.

I have more shields than you but I'm way behind in everything else lol

How else would I use skills if they aren't hotkey'ed?

I'd like to duel you, though I'll probably have a tough time getting through that big D.

Well the toxic armor skill is excellent.  It adds a lot of armor plus it does a lot of dmg if it poisons.  I have not yet tried the poison bomb one.  I will at some point.

Wow, I didn't realize what a huge difference the low texture settings had. I've heard some people have turned down the textures just so areas will load faster.
