It sounds like that but if you watch closely you'll see that they are revising D&D history and saying it has always just been about attacking trolls with swords. If that's all they think D&D is all about I fear for the future of the game.

EDIT: Ha ha ha, WotC's official site is now relying on youtube to serve their videos. Fucking amateurs, how did a successful company like WotC end up with such a shitty IT Department?

The people that don't wish to discuss this issue are the ones starting the spam war and by locking the thread you are doing exactly what they want, ignoring the legitimate complaints of the D&D community.

I'm confused about the grappling. We use the books as a guide line so why was there such a heavy emphasis on them?  
I think maybe they are targeting just that group in the video, those players, like the guys I play with, that have been running the same game for 20 years.  They haven't spent a dime on D&D products in 15+ years.

It's a commercial.
