Check out the results of this NWVault poll:

What's the main thing you're doing with NWN2?

Playing Single Player Modules 497

Playing Multi-Player Modules 53

Building Modules 131

Learning the Toolset/Scripting 115

Waiting for New Content 306

Trying to Finish the Official Campaign 147

Trying to Get a Gaming Group Together 13

Just Passing Through 28

Persistent Worlds 106

Making New Content 28

Other 52
Single player mods are nearly 10X more popular than multiplayer and the second most votes is for "Waiting for new content". I hope Obsidian is paying attention to this shit.

Shouldn't persistent worlds and multiplayer content be added together?

I assume you meant "multiplayer modules", most NWN multiplayer I have done (other than PvP of course) is play through the various official campaigns and premium mods with Throbble and Cuchulann.

Persistant Worlds are the mods with their main story and big maps with lots of places to go, like rpg ones or some action ones, the rest are just hack n slash or pvp.
