OK, it's bad enough that Obsidian claimed that NWN2 was "NWN1 with better graphics". The community ripped them a new asshole over that claim.

I guess they didn't learn their lesson because now they are comparing the expansion's campaign to Planescape: Torment! They are fucking delusional! What in the fuck are they thinking?!?!?

My theory is that Obsidian will shut down after MotB is released so they are just saying whatever they can to sell it.

nwn2 is nowhere near as good as nwn1, the only thing are the graphics because the rest its worse or ripped off the game.

Yet again the only thing that makes this game the least bit appealing is the setting...

An epic spell called "Mass Fowl?" What the hell will that do? Release a flock of pidgeons to poop on an enemy?

It looks like Mass Fowl is probably an altered version of this Epic Spell from the 3.5 System Reference Docs:

Quote
Mass Frog
Transmutation
Spellcraft DC: 55
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 300 ft.
Area: 40-ft.-radius hemisphere
Duration: Permanent
Saving Throw: Fortitude negates
Spell Resistance: Yes
To Develop: 495,000 gp; 10 days; 19,800 XP. Seed: trans-form (DC 21). Factors: change target to Area of 20-ft. hemisphere (+10 DC), increase Area by 100% (+4 DC), 1- action casting time (+20 DC).
This epic spell turns all Medium-size or smaller creatures in the Area into frogs. The transformed creatures retain their mental faculties, including personality, Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores, level and class, hit points (despite any change in Consitution score), alignment, base attack bonus, base save bonuses, extraordinary abilities, spells, and spell-like abilities, but not supernatural abilities. They assume the physical characteristics of frogs, including natural size and Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution scores. (Use the statistics for the toad.) All the creaturesâ?? equipment drops to the ground upon transformation.
If nothing else it should make PvP more interesting.

Smells like Morrowind.
