The server might go down on a few occasions during the next few days for maintenance. So if you the forums don't load don't worry. It will be back online shortly.

Server will be down on occasions over the next few weeks. I am upgrading servers and then moving. Both events will require downtime for the forum. I will post an update on when these down periods will take place.

I wonder if anyone else took that post wrong...

Is it possible for you to make these posts like two days before, or the day before, the site will have downtime? I always forget on those days and then wonder why it's down, and then remember after awhile that you said it would be. lol.

Yeah, AFTER I try coming here. And in general, I have a pretty good memory. Think of the Tyraels and Anhegs on this board!

I think a good part of my mind doesn't find it important to remember, and that's why I don't. I'll probably forget this Sunday too, actually, I remember every day only because of our posting in this thread... lol. In fact, I probably don't care about when you post it at all... I don't even know why I mentioned it in the first place... must've been my alter-ego.

Some people might have noticed LM being down at times last night. There was some maintenance going on that took longer than I expected. There might be some more periods of down time, of say 10 mins, in the coming days as I tweak the server further.

Latest outage today was 6 hours. Caused by a faulty UPS. I'll replace that this weekend. I'm also changing ISP to a more reliable one.

Sorry about the recent outages. First my ISP screwed up my "static IP" and then a thunderstorm knocked out power for 8 hours today.

Fucking up a static IP is one thing, but if your ISP can't control the weather then they are worthless!
