No way! Just because I spent all day playing Diablo 2 yesterday doesn't mean NWN2 is a dud. In fact I plan to play NWN2 again in the very near future, possibly, maybe after I play through Warcraft 3 again. But, then definitely I'm going to think about putting the NWN2 CD back in and play it maybe.

The whole PWC download bullshit needs to be fixed. Once this barrier is overcome and more people start playing then nwn2 will be ok. Untill then it is pure donkey nuts.

Its to little to late... plus the game flatout stinks man have you even played it.

GS has no chance of making it in NWN2 but theres always other games that could maybe carry the GS torch but its deffiently not NWN2.

Don't rush to conclusions about NWN2. It just a real shame that a sequel can take such a huge step backwards in terms on playability. I just read that RDD's don't have wings...man there's no excuse for something that simple.

Aye, Mo. That's what I'm saying, though it's a complete shame and disaster now, with everybody sending so much feedback in and bitching them out, they might just get up and get their asses in gear, ya never know, they may actually make shit alot better. Look at NWN 1, it got alot better than it was, sure it took forever, and alot still isn't fixed, but that doesn't mean these guys will make the same mistake when it comes to that. Look at the original campaigns for NWN1, then compare them to the expansion ones, and the modules... it's not all cut and dry. Besides the point that the future has yet to come, there are a ton of users out there as pissed off/disappointed as you, and we've all seen what user created content could do to NWN1... =) You never know, until it happens.

Kick their asses? Come now, I did plenty of that in NWN.

ehm...why do you think nwn 2 sucks cuz it really doesn't...I have nwn 2 for like 2 months or so I didn't encounter a single bug in the game, I like the graphics, and the SP campaign pwns!
Oke the Multiplayer sucks a bit cuz you need to download the .pwc file for every server and shit, but the community needs to rise just like it did in nwn 1 it would go faster if they didn't make the toolset more complicated, the walkmeshes, .pwc files, etc...
But in general nwn 2 is really a nice game in my opinion i think Atari/Bioware or wtv made nwn 2 a good game.

What's really confusing is that they did the right thing by changing the Champion of Torm prestige class into the Divine Champion, so it fits the official prestige class in the FRCS but they didn't do the same thing with the Dragon Disciple prestige class.

The only thing they would have to do (since they didn't even bother with wings) would be to change the breath damage and damage reduction energy types for different dragons.

What they should have done was make the RDD PrC and then give the community the tools to add their own custom prestige classes.

Ok, im going to post even though theres nettles blowing in the wind past me.

NWN2 is getting better as they patch, im actualy enjoying myself right about now with my new build that took me all night too come up with.
I havent been into the tool set in a while, dont have the fire that GS gave me anymore. It will return in time though im sure.

NWN2 isn't all that great IMO. It feels clumsy, slow, poorly designed, half-arsed with porting prcs straight over from NWN, and the spell graphics and sounds fx just plain suck compare to NWN.

Having said that, i'd play NWN2 more often if GS2 was up.
