Bioware can't reproduce the HotU animation crash

If anyone knows how to reproduce this crash send your info to the e-mail address:

Just to note - we have never been able to reproduce reported crashes linked to the HotU animations and without being able to make them happen, we can't fix them.

If someone has a *reliable* way of reproducing it that doesn't require a huge team to work on and hours of time (because we don't have either for NWN), make sure to send it to nwbugs@bioware.com.

its the thing that crashes you when you hips someone

when reflecting water is turned on you crash randomly sometimes from a specific angle

and you crash when getting attacked by an invis person

Reflecting water was a problem before HoTU for some people.

HiPS isnt the problem, its random animations. Partially maybe, it would be the animation that you are doing when someone comes out of HiPS and are attacked.

The invis person crash I have never even heard of.

@ 420

Recreating a crash would be wierd, because we don't really know what causes the crash other than the animations.
Elessar: why is the shit coming from his head?
Anheg: cause its japanese?

I would say, best bet, level 39 monk, 1 barbarian. (or is it two barb?) Get the fastest run speed you can, then DM speed on top of it, and you'll be much more likely to recreate the crash. I also would guess certain tilesets may help increase the chance, as well as the possibility that it may only happen with certain video card types, etc. If the latter plays a part, I'd put money on ATI cards being one of the troubled ones.
