Psychiatrists suggest medicines, and see if there's a problem, etc.. They usually call your family doctors and such. Psychologists help with the problems.

I'm should know, I'm going to one. :P

Pschiatrists are MDs
Psychologists are not.  That's the only difference.  The MD allows them to percribe medicine.  imo Pschiatry is a bs practice.  Meds don't help solve mental issues. They may mask them.

I agree with that 100%

Yeah, I have both... =( I stay away from the pyschiatrist best I can these days, since I won't let anyone prescribe me meds anyway.

That's mostly the point of them considering a good amount of them are impossible to fix the cause of atm...
